Nice place to stay. staff are more than great. all facilities are clean and room is the best in my opinion in the area as bi sofa is availble for kids

The Hotel is rated very high. The hotel does not deserve more than 3 star. The breakfast was very back. Services are fine staff are fine. But what would you expect under this management? This is the same management of the Act hotel which is right behind it. Very bad…. I believe they should pay them a surprise visit to re-evaluate them.

first of all the location provided was wrong, that location is for corniche hotel and not for 72 hotel, room was ok, cleanliness was there,mini bar was empty, no slippers, staff like if u ask them something they will just reply short no welcome or pleasure shown, couldn't feel the hospitality. pool water was too cold. breakfast was ok not the 5 start level, and the dinner was very pathetic seriously, only 2 dish options and u have to choose one and both were not proper meal options, dessert was also not up to the mark. overall complete disappointment 😞

I had a fantastic stay at the Riverside Hotel. The rooms were clean and spacious, the staff was incredibly friendly, and the location was perfect for exploring the city. The breakfast buffet had a great variety of options, and the rooftop pool was a delightful bonus

A great experience of comfort, relaxation, with a touch of real class. The staff were a pleasure to relate with. The kitchen staff were really helpful. Great imellettes cooked within ones view. An array of food that should satisfy anyones appetite We would recommend this hotel to anyone who has reason to be in this area. Shopping on the doorstep, and a beautiful Mosque two minutes walk away. A Russian Orthodox church within a very short taxi ride. ATM's within two minutes walk. All in all, an excellent choice of Hotel.

More like a 4 star B hotel but at least better than Ibis Sharjah Liked · 1. True non-smoking room not non-smoking only in name as at Ibis Sharjah 2. Excellent refrigerator with working freezer. 3. Excellent aircon with temperature control. 4. Spacious room and large modern bathroom. 5. Mattress is comfy. 6 Good blackout curtains. Disliked · 1. Drain in sink clogged 2. Hair drier not working 3. Annoying buzzing sound (emitted by refrigerator?) impeding continuous restful sleep 4. Clock set incorrectly indicating 40 minutes fast 5. Terrible corrugated floors uncomfortable to walk on with bare feet or with socks 6. Very few spare outlets to use or inconveniently located negating their utility 7. Quirky, unergonomic lighting i.e. insufficient lighting for reading in bed; floor lamp located in useless place 8. Bed needs an extra, thin sheet (brought my own fortunately) and is not long enough for tall people Cleaners start vacuuming around the doors of the room by 10AM so if you are not sleepless from the noise in the room, then you will get woken up by the cleaners mid-morning. I used this hotel as I had a 17 hour layover in Sharjah. It is located in the neighborhood Majaz-1. On the way from Sharjah airport on a Saturday evening it was slow going by taxi (30-40 minutes) at a cost of 55 dirhams but Sunday morning just 10-15 minutes at a cost of 36 dirhams. This was an alternative for me to staying at the overpriced Sharjah Airport hotel on Dhaid Road "Centro" (in which there are no eating options outside this Centro Hotel). However, near Hotel 72 turning right at the main entrance staying on the main street there is a good Arabic restaurant within perhaps 250 meters from the hotel called Madfoon Al-Khaimah. That is why I rated location as very good in terms of utility of Hotel 72 as a transit hotel. Charged $79 for one night. If you add in an additional $27 for taxis from/to the Airport, the savings from staying is very small to nil but at least you can have a good meal at an affordable price near Hotel 72 at Madfoon Al-Khaimah. I would not rate this hotel highly but standards are low throughout Sharjah so, in comparison with other Sharjah options, it is not a bad choice. Certainly better than the last time I transited in Sharjah and stayed one night in Ibis Sharjah, which, even at half the price of Hotel 72, is an inferior choice by far. If memory serves, by the way, I stayed in room 607 down the corridor on the 6th floor last door on the left.

sehr großes Zimmer mit wunderbarem Ausblick über die Lagune und Moschee, großes, sehr modern eingerichtetes Bad, Dusche u Wanne getrennt. Sehr bequeme Matratzen, alles sieht sehr neu aus. Und für uns sehr schön: es gibt keinen Teppichboden im Zimmer! Der Frühstücksraum ist sehr hell eingerichtet und bietet ein großes Buffet. Das Personal an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und unsere Zimmerfee Maria immer gutgelaunt. Viele Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe, sämtliche Sehenswürdigkeiten sind fussläufig zu erreichen und vor der Tür hält (sogar auf Abruf) ein Hop on Hop off Bus. Wir können dieses Hotel nur empfehlen.

The location of hotel was perfect. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room size is perfect. The view of Sharjah Lagoon was nice. Wifi was good.. breakfast was good. Parking available. Easy check in and out.
