謝拉皇家之家旅館(Shella Royal House)

Shela Royal House is a gem of a place for a stay in Lamu, with great value. The location is fabulous and staff very attentive and ready to do everything to make your stay a memorable one. The rooms on the upper floors are very well appointed with an exquisite adjoining outside terrace with wonderful seating for relaxation, greenery to temper the sun, and a table for breakfast The rooftop floor has a large communal space with large TV screen and table, with apps like Netflix. There is a fridge in the room for drinks and a shop just two minutes walk away. Staff arranged laundry with no fuss, and arranged a cool drinks delivery for us. Omar, Baya and team are great! I won't ld love to come back when next in Shela.

I bumped the hotel up from 1 star because broadly I liked everything about this hotel, except for unruly guests that partied well past 230 in the morning while I stayed there. Management seems completely absent to address the problem. I overheard other guests complaining about this the following morning, yet management did nothing to address the problem the following date. Frankly it was so loud guests in other sections on the hotel were complaining yet management remained unconcerned. Its a shame because the rooms are spacious, the view is nice, the location is good, but good lord you will NOT have any chance of getting any sleep.
