As soon as you walk through the door this wonderful hotel gives you a ‘warm hug’. The decor and furnishings are beautiful all the way through from the reception area, to the lounge, dining/breakfast room, stairway and room. We didn’t arrive until late on a Friday evening and Sally had very kindly already worked out that our journey time would have been about 2.5 hours and after such a long drive we would probably be too tired to go out and find somewhere to eat, so she arranged for the kitchen to stay open a bit later so we could eat in their restaurant. Sally even took our bag up to our room so we could head straight to the restaurant. The food and service was absolutely first class and I can see why non residents go there to eat. Whilst at our table Sally came over to us to say she had noticed how tall my partner was (6ft 6”), so she had upgraded us to a room with a larger bed free of charge. Our room had everything we could ask for, beautiful bedding, lovely toiletries and fluffy towels and bath robes. The lounge area is so inviting and comfortable and you can order your drinks from there, so no need to stand and order at a bar. We sat in the lounge with the owners (Sally and Joanna) and listened to their story about the refurbishment of the hotel. Their hard work and passion for the place has really paid off. Breakfast is included in the price and was delicious, with plenty to choose from. All the staff are so friendly and can’t do enough for you and the food the chef turns out is second to none. Would we go back? Yes, in a heart beat.

Fist visit. Beautifully done venue. Lovely garden sun trap. Treated ourselves to cocktails which were all super tasty and handmade. Added the fresh crab balls from the garden menu. Wonderful mix. Would love to have had the time to chill all evening but alas we had to go. Respect to the girls and their fab team.

Our first visit and we can't wait to go again. Excellent hosts for who nothing is too much. Top class rooms beautifully decorated and lovely linen. The outdoor cocktail bar is a delight and then into the restaurant for a top class meal. The location so close to the sea adds to the all round experience.

Tastefully decorated, quality fixture & fittings. Very comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast & dinner. Pleasant & helpful staff. Car parking very convenient near the front door. Enjoyed a pre-dinner drink in the sunshine in the attractive front garden.

Excellent evening, started in the Garden bar with cocktails, such a lovely little sun trap! Then followed by a delicious meal in the restaurant. Excellent hosts Sally, Joanna and their fabulous staff. And not forgetting Henry, Louie & Finley 🐶🐶🐶

Lovely hotel very clean and comfortable not tatty . food was excellent very nice staff ,we will definitely have a return visit. great location didn’t have to use the car which was great sheringham has a lot to offer a theatre quirky shops and a few nice pubs

This hotel has the most friendly staff, and wonderful food. Only 2 minutes from the sea, and a short walk to town. Everything is very clean and tidy with rather glamorous furniture, fluffy towels and comfortable dressing gowns. It's like visiting friends at their very upmarket house. BB, we love you!

My partner and I had stayed at Burlington Berties several times when it was under its previous owners. It was good then and it is even better now. Its location is superb, being just a short walk from both the town centre in one direction and the promenade/beach in another. This time we stayed in the Hippodrome Suite which was gorgeous, with a large bedroom and similarly large attached, but entirely separate, bathroom and both are very well appointed with all that you could wish for. The bed and bedding were absolute quality and comfort and conducive to a perfect night's sleep. The atmosphere is very friendly while quiet but not in any way stuffy. The service from Sally and Joanna and their staff was first class and the cleanliness is absolutely the same. The major change since our last visit is the restaurant, which not only adds so much to the amenities, but provides the most fantastic food on the menu, which we both enjoyed immensely. The hotel has its own car park at the front of the premises, which is a great amenity. We have no hesitation in praising Burlington Berties and giving the highest possible review and recommendation based on our 3 nights stay from Monday 19th May 2025 onwards.

We had a great stay, the staff were great as-well as the food. The hotel is in a great location close to the beach and Main Street. The rooms were very clean and the bed was very comfy. We would definitely recommend Burlington if your looking to stay in sheringham!

Lovely staff, comfy beds and sumptuous decor. The breakfast menu was extensive and all beautifully cooked. We also ate in the rest one evening and it was similarly delicious.,would definitely recommend and stay again when next visiting friends.

Had an amazing 3 night break here from the minute we walked through the door they made our stay amazing. We ate at the hotel on the first night the food was excellent unfortunately we couldn't get in the Saturday and Sunday as they was fully booked. The room was spotless and very big .it was a short walk to the sea and the town myself and my husband will definitely be going back thank you all for our lovely break.

From the outset, a very warm welcome from Joanna & Sally. The staff are attentive and can’t do enough for you. The whole experience was excellent and very relaxing thanks to the staff. It is like walking into someone’s own home. The bedroom was very clean with great facilities. We will definitely return.

We stayed here for two nights and we cannot fault the hotel. From the very warm welcome to the great rooms. We stayed in the Aldwych - spotlessly clean and well equipped. Excellent breakfast too, all cooked to order. Good size car park and plenty of space on the road too.

Wow what a place, we decided to go away for the weekend and came across this lovely place, the owners are so friendly and helpful and lovely to chat with, the place is spotless and the food is fantastic even the home made pie, they even put us into a bigger room which had a bigger bed due to me being 6ft6 tall and this was at no extra cost, thank you for a lovely stay.
