Ahistay Homes

I stopped at Ahistay Homes on my way to spiti. I was looking for a quiet place away from the highway and thats what I got. If you are someone who enjoys mountain veggies, quietness that lets you hear all birds and a stunning view to wake up to.. then Ahistay is for you. I absolutely enjoyed the 2kms of unpaved trail from the highway that leads to the stay. If you are staying for a few days there are some great drives through forest roads like the one to Mashada, where I met this cute doggo. This place might just become my favourite easy access himachal destination since it is far from crowded shimla but still close enough to reach without driving for too long.

I had a lovely time at ahista. Tucked away from the main , it was the perfect location home stay for downtime, relaxing and rejuvenating. The stay was quite comfortable with homely food , neat woodsy rooms with breathtaking views that complement the tranquility and peace the place offers. Would highly recommend for solo travellers as well as families.

It was a very pleasant and comfortable stay. Food was good , my family was quite happy with it. Host was very helpful. The property’s approach is tricky from the main road but the place is in the lap of nature, once you reach it’s beautiful and good for people who enjoy nature.

Amazing stay! Loved everything about this property, the cozy rooms, the perfect food and the greatest people. The experiences provided are also amazing, jungle walks, bonfire, gaming corner. We witnessed the most beautiful sunset from here. Would love to visit here again!!

Just got back from an awesome stay at my friend's homestay in Fagu! It’s super pet-friendly, which was perfect for my furry buddy. The vibe was so chill and quiet—definitely a nice break from the city craziness. We had a blast with all the indoor and outdoor games they had. The bonfire nights were the best, all cozy under the stars. And oh ***, the home-cooked meals were just incredible! Everything was super clean, and I felt really comfortable and safe the whole time. I totally recommend this place if you’re looking for a relaxing getaway in Fagu. Can’t wait to go back!
