I recently stayed at the Royal Retreat in Shimla, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The food was a delightful fusion of local flavors and gourmet dishes, leaving my taste buds craving more. The ambience is simply breathtaking, with stunning mountain views and a serene atmosphere that truly captures the essence of Shimla. The hotel located close to victory tunnel with a well done up lobby,wooden flooring, a brass statue of lord Krishna ad a glass lifts blends tradition with modern world,42 rooms in all well done up with comfort and style,a 108 covers restaurant, delicious food. The only two drawbacks it doesn't have a bar or Gym

The most loved stay in Royale Retreat ever. The hotel, it's ambience is just awesome. A unique blend of rustic and modern look. Excellent staff to assist you always. Sumptuous meals in breakfast to enhance your tastebuds. We ate all 3 meals in the hotel only and enjoyed to the core. The taste and service at Inayssa Restaurant in Hotel Royale Retreat was just great. Overall a great experience..

Location - Good, Hotel/Room ambience & Cleanliness- Excellent, Staff - Excellent, Food - Good & Lastly Toiletries- Substandard. Towels provided are soggy and worn out. Hand Towels not provided. Basics like Dental/Shaving kits to be asked for. Carry your own Toiletries set for otherwise a superb stay

For my vacation I was looking for a property in shimla and when we search came to Royal retreat I selected this property ...At the time of selection I was absolutely having no clue about the property and it was just a chance which I took and certainly it proved to be a golden one for me....It was a super wonderful experience I just had with royal retreat ...Very nice rooms, courteous staff and awesome food quality served in all the meals I had makes this stay unforgettable experience for me.... Special thanks to Shweta , Dev & entire royal retreat team for their happy to help anytime approach with super smiling faces ....Great job guys.....Hope to see you soon....

Royale retreat shimla is an excellent property..we are stayed 3 days..the staff is very friendly and professional. The room service is very quickly...the rooms were spacious ..food is awesome,homely atmosphere.Special thanks to Ms.Ritu & Mr Rohit for their hospitality

My three days stay at Hotel Royale Retreat was truly exceptional. The elegant ambiance, coupled with the warm and attentive staff, made my experience unforgettable and a memorable one. The rooms were spacious, well-maintained and offered a stunning nature's view, offering a perfect blend of luxury and comfort. The hotel's amenities, including the dining options, were top-notch. Royale Retreat Shimla is an excellent 4 star property. We stayed for 4N5D and we had a great time. I would like to thank Mr. Dev Chatterjee at the front office for his hospitality and excellent service. The hotel is well located near the mall road with ample parking. The food is outstanding, rooms are very clean and the staff is very courteous and helpful. I broke my car key and the entire front office including Mr. Rohit Jassal went out of their way to solve my problem. I will definitely stay in the hotel next time. I recommend this property to all visitors

We stayed IMPERIAL SUITE which was fitted with JACUZZI...and the best I always wanted a Hydrotherapy steam shower... What an experience it was ...it was like a complete spa which took all our travel sickness off... If you want to feel the luxury, people go for it... Friendly staff and quick response too also .... Awesome food... great variety... A complete package if you're looking for a relaxed vacation... Will definitely Visit and recommend... Thank you Royale Retreat..

The rooms were spacious and spotless, with great décor and crisp bed sheets and great view. The food was delicious, with a huge variety of options! The staff were attentive and went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable. It is very near to The Mall Road walkable distance. Best hospitality you can get in shimla for your family and friends with parking available.

The hotel is awesome with a proper staff . The service is good and the room are well cleaned. hotel location is awesome. Hotel food is amazing plus very near to the mall shimla hospitality is good . The parking area is also good . The hotel is bloomed with plants amd flowers .

After a tiring journey from Delhi to shimla, we reached the hotel at 3PM. We were in touch with receptionist when we left kalka. After reaching, we were informed that our room is not ready and will take another 20mins which is 1.5hrs from the check-in time. What is the point of informing in advance if the room is not ready! Hotel & Staff feedback : We were waiting for the room and thought of using the common area restroom which were not clean and had poop on the seat. (Pics attached). When we told receptionist she started arguing rather than apologising. The lady at the reception was rude and arrogant. Room Feedback Finally we got our room which was cleaned but had torn towels, sheet had stains, broken tiles, dirty walls and broken table. (Pics attached) The interior of the wardrobes was so dirty that you don't want to keep your clothes inside. Food Food is not that great and prices are high. Breakfast was included in our package, it had buffet but quality was not good. Staff service at the restaurant was good. Location Its near to victory tunnel and 500m-1km away from Mall road. Alternate food options Zaika restaurant is 50m away from Royal retreat and serve good food, we ate 2-3 times there and liked it much better than Royal retreat. Avoid this hotel, its not worth paying 8K per night, the services of this hotel is like a 2star hotel. Instead get a 2 star hotel on mall road.
