Be careful, people who wrote only one review and people who wrote many reviews. One needs to think carefully. I didn’t stayed in this place but experience I had I am sharing with you. I asked for twin beds in a room and I was very impressed by reply from the owner who asked for my program and I told him that. I didn’t asked him for a quote for the car but he quoted which was Rs. 5,000 higher than what car rental companies quoted me. Room rate owner quoted was higher than what Agoda was offering and owner claimed that he will justify why he is charging more. Anyway, I paid advance but I have to stay in more luxurious accommodation and I cancelled my accommodation as well as car rental booking in first week of January for travel by end of March. Owner didn’t refund the full amount claiming that he spent time on me. I paid advance to many reputed hotels in and everyone mentioned that it will be fully refunded until one day prior to arrival. This one was not willing to refund the full amount even more than two and half months in advance cancellation. I always supported small businesses but I burnt my hand dealing with this accommodation. I should have booked through Agoda and paid less and no prepayment was required and cancel for free two days before my arrival date. I wish them good luck but such attitude will harm their business and reputation

In April this year it was my third stay at this property. Beyond expression behaviour of front office run my mr. Varun Walia, location,food quality and overall behaviour of all staff members wins your heart. Ideally located with very beautiful view, on site parking and proximity to Mall Road is all what you need at Shimla. 💐💐

Such an amazing experience to be here in the oaktree house. The ambience is super cool. The best thing is The food. Everything is freshly prepared in front of you. Just like home food. The hospitality by the staff members is marvoulus. Thank you.

There were no proper heating arrangements in the room, all the furniture and fixtures looked old and shabby, our stay at this property was not comfortable at all.. Breakfast was fine, view was nice as well

One of the best stays in shimla view was amazing from my window and staff was very helpful every-time he served he asked us to make sure everything was really good and tasty.

Amazing experience. Location is very good if you have your own vehicle. Rooms and services were also really perfect. Breakfast options were average and could be improved (please take this seriously. No complains, would recommend staying here. Thanks for a nice experience.

I went there in january end, the rooms were clean and staff was nice. You can expect a 3 str kind of hotel experience. The location is peaceful although you will have to walk around 2 km to reach mall road.

Situated on a quiet road just 1 km off auckland tunnel. 15 minutes drive from the mall rd. very cosy hotel. We stayed at luxury room 111. Big balcony with valley view. Very comfortable room with nice decor. Food of this hotel was very delicious. Limited menu as its a small hotel . But everything available on order if desired. We forgot to ask the chef’s name . Talented guy. The 2 staff were very courteous. We strongly recommend to those looking for a good hotel with valley view , amazing food , great location.

The oak tree house situated in the heart of Shimla, has a warm homely feel. We are a family of 4, we took their suite/ family room. Very well designed room with a great view from the balcony. It has simple good food and prompt service. Only problem is parking of vehicle. All in all it is good value for money, i will definitely stay there again if i visit Shimla.
