Well maintained property, and has been so for over 3 decades that we know of! centrally located, and with parking place too. Netted windows to keep out the metro mosquitoes! for the price, it's quite a good deal !

From checkin to checkout the experience was a delight. Very courteous staff. Dinner buffet was with good selection of veg and non veg delicacies. Ms Rita at front office was excellent host. Breakfast buffer was not lavish but well spread. I overall loved the stay and looking forward to anither trip.

One of best hotels we have stayed so far. The hotel MD Mr. Gururaj was personally taking care of us and helped us ***** with his staff to plan our trips. The rooms were clean and the toilets were very well maintained. The attached Restaurant serves all kinds of Veg cuisines. The breakfast in the morning was also excellent. This place is very well close to Bhadra Tiger Reserves, Jog Falls, Sakrebylu Elephant Camp and a plethora of ancient Shiva temples. I would definitely visit this hotel next year with my family to catch up with more exciting adventures in & around Shimoga.

Rooms are very clean and drinking water was also available at the room while checking in. Ac and thermostat worked perfectly and hot water is also available. Hotel is very close to bus stand hence convenient too

I had booked an estate view room The check in experience itself was terrible I booked a room with breakfast for 3 adults and a child When i reached there the person sitting doing the check in was grumpy and rude He insisted that their property had rooms that can accommodate max 3 guests and if the child is above 5 we will need to take another room However the booking and payment at MMT smoothly went through. When i insisted that the booking and payment went through and no where did it say that it was for restricted to 3 adults only the person made franatic phone calls to the owner and i kept waiting for almost 15 mins and finally they said they will accomodate It was heavily raining However the room was warm and cozy The AC did not function properly when we wanted to switch on the AC The DTH was not charged in the room and upon repeated requests they did not recharge it and finally i recharged it myself The breakfast buffet spreqd was so limited for the price we paid I had informed about the check out time on the date of check out However during check out again we had to wait for 15 mins standing outside The *** who was in charge doing all this is extremely rude and grumpy Overall not a pleasant experience 😒😒

I stayed in kamat residency with family for one night. Rooms are clean and spacious. Hot water is 24*7. Don't see any issue with price offered. I see many reviews with bad comments. It's budget hotel but rooms and neatnes is fine. I went to maurya hotel for breakfast. I am happy with stay.

Location is just on the Shimoga highway, nice ambience, spacious and clean room, Breakfast is tasty, Restaurant food is also nice, staff is really cordial and helpful. All rooms are of same size. Only AC non AC is the difference.

River tern lodge is a very close to nature resort situated in the bhadra dam reservoir in karnataka. It is one of the resort owned and maintained by the government of karnataka under jungle lodges & resorts aka JLR. The package included all the meals, 1 jeep safari and 1 boat safari. It is a very refreshing environment with water body and greenery all around. Meals were also excellent.

Most amazing and beautiful hotel in sagara, fantastic service provided in the hotel. Most of the amazing features of the hotel. 1.great food taste and presentation. 2.great staff and warm welcoming of the guest. 3.great housekeeping service. 4.great service staff with polite gestures. 5.front office people are amazing and so professional. 6.great lobby ambience. 7.superb welcoming criteria (always with different types of welcome drinks). Seriously i have never visited such facilities, ambience, respect, food . I must advice you to visit such a great hotel to enjoy real hospitality.
