房間非常不錯，英式小屋，還有鄉村畫師的作品，就是住在這邊最好可以自駕，否則出門不方便。

暑假帶娃來英國旅遊，行程中安排了從牛津玩完自駕到科茨沃爾德最美小鎮去轉轉，沒想到停留在小鎮上的這晚讓人印象深刻，我們是兩大兩小，訂了三號套房，房間外表就是英國傳統小聯排，內部裝修和設施遠遠超過很多連鎖酒店，感受到了非常純粹的英國小鎮風情。特別要説的是樓下的餐廳非常棒，小鎮上居民在這裏吃飯的非常多，最好預留好座位。另外小鎮物價比英國低挺多，晚上在鎮上散步也很愜意，開車去科茨沃爾德的幾個小鎮大概就20分鐘，非常方便，過去自駕強烈推薦住這裏。

Absolutely beautiful place to stay! The pictures don't do it justice, we were lucky enough to stay in room 4 (blue room) no expense spared with anything, every last detail was thought of. The room and bathroom was massive, the bath and bed were the best ever! Honestly cannot recommend enough, just gutted downstairs was closed, good excuse to go back again!

This was truly one of the most beautiful rooms I’ve every stayed at. I wasn’t expecting too much since the Bower House only has a few rooms over the bar/restaurant but we figured the location would suit us for exploring the Cotswolds. The room was exceptional in every way. The bathrooms (there were two…one with the toilet and tub and the other with the shower) were gorgeous with dark marble and beautiful wallpapers. The bedroom was down a couple of stairs and had a huge bed, a small bar area, casement windows, and,again, sumptuous textiles and wallpaper. I would like to hire the person who decorated these rooms to do my house! We stayed in #3, by the way. The breakfasts were excellent but we were there over a weekend and unfortunately missed having lunches and dinners there because the restaurant is closed Sunday, Monday and Tuesday except for breakfast. Other than that, it was perfect!

Entrance into the bar area, which is very open and social when filled with customers. Then up a few steps to the restaurant/dining area. Rooms not accessible from within. Service was friendly, attentive and efficient. Food: Ordered a starter each, shared their 1kg fish £58 which came with sides and a rhubarb dessert each. Expect to budget/pay a bit more £££ when in the Cotswolds. Just because it costs more doesn’t necessarily mean it’s better. IMO all edible but underwhelming and therefore overpriced -1*. Located across from the co-op, looking out, Shipston-on-Stour on a Saturday evening appears to be quite happening.

A lovely, well appointed room with lots of nice touches such as cookies, fruit and a very good mini bar. The bathroom was huge with a roomy shower and high quality products supplied. Breakfast is really very good with loads of choice and our evening meal was superb. Free parking is available on street although we parked in the Bridge St car park just down the road. Would definitely stay again.

My wife and I enjoyed a short stay at the Bower House after a lovely afternoon wine tasting at nearby Sheldon’s Wine Cellars. From the get go the service was absolutely on point - from information on parking, to advice on cocktails and beers ! The evening meal was a delight. Both the cod and lobster starters surpassing expectations, and the fallow deer main was incredible, all washed down with a quality Spanish red from the extensive wine menu. Our bedroom was tip top . . . plenty of space with a quality bath and shower. Immaculately clean too. Highly recommended - we will definitely return. Special thanks to Paul and Izzy for making our stay so special.

I had the pleasure of dining at The Bower House yesterday, and it was truly a fantastic experience. The food completely delighted me and introduced me to flavours I had never experienced before in an English restaurant. The cuisine was incredibly delicate and refined, with every combination of ingredients thoughtfully balanced. I even discovered vegetables I had never seen before, yet they were absolutely delicious and beautifully prepared. Every dish felt carefully crafted, and you could really sense the attention to detail in every element of the meal. The restaurant itself is warm and welcoming, with a cosy atmosphere, and the team made us feel genuinely cared for throughout the evening. Everything—from the service to the presentation—was handled with great care. I highly recommend stopping here, especially if you’re looking for a quiet, romantic dinner in the heart of the Warwickshire . A truly memorable experience. ✨

We stayed here for a one night birthday break, in the family room. The stay was excellent, great quality rooms with everything you needed. The restaurant food was also excellent and highly recommended. Staff were excellent too. This would have been a perfect 5 star stay. The one downside, we woke up in the morning covered in bed bug bites (covered!). The hotel kindly took some money off from our bill for the inconvenience, but I couldn't write a review and not mention this. It's one of those things does happen, and I do believe they were going to do everything they could to sort it, but it did taint our otherwise perfect stay quite badly!

Rooms and staff very good stopped for one night part of a birthday party however food not good asked for a rare steak Came well done went back next steak the same ,wife’s steak fillet well done come very rare when back next steak well over cooked could not eat it said they would take it off the bill but didn’t so my wife had no main course breakfast was as bad very over cooked bacon and salty, black pudding rock hard and a very long wait from ordering when the bill came we should of had a credit because we had paid for a continental breakfast but no we had to pay full price however they did take my wife’s main course off after they rang the manager

Went for my birthday and my step mum was very poorly. The staff were amazing and I can’t thank you enough for all of your help. Sadly I didn’t get to eat… but all I can say is a huge thanks to all the staff and fellow customers for helping in such a difficult situation. 10/10 from us we will be back asap to hopefully enjoy a meal. We stayed in the Blue Room which was lovely. The room is large and the bathroom is great with a freestanding bath and separate shower. An air conditioning unit and fan were in the room which was appreciated because it was the hottest day of June! The continental breakfast was very nice. I would recommend staying at the Bower House 10/10 from us.

We enjoyed a one night stay here, in The Pink Room. A beautiful room, lovely decor and amenities, the bathroom was spacious with a delightful bath and walk in shower. A really pleasant stay, would recommend, great price and free parking nearby.

While on a weekend away in the Cotswolds we enjoyed a very pleasant stay at the Bower House in Shipston-on-Stour and would certainly target to return whenever back in the area. We were impressed by the attention to detail in the room furnishing & features and by the overall customer interactions by the Bower House team. Clearly the staff are very well trained and appear to have experience in high-end hospitality and it showed. The highlights of the property for us: - Fantastic room size (room 5) and comfortable bed. - Quality towels and linens - Attention to detail of tasteful room furnishings - Coffee pods, tea selection and teapot, fresh milk included in the in-room refrigerator - Large bathroom, roomy walk-in shower booth with excellent rain shower. Great big bathtub, quality toiletries - Excellent adjoining restaurant. Dined on both nights of our stay, the 2nd of which we enjoyed the delicious tasting menu with expertly paired wines. - Friendly property staff Will definitely consider the Bower House for a stay in the area and recommend to others.
