斯利蘭家帕納孔雀河景克孜迪克酒店(Kstdc Hotel Mayura Riverview Srirangapatna)

The hotel is beautifully situated at the river bank. We had a great view from our balcony and saw ***y bird species and fruit bats. Clean room and bathroom, nice bed. Food was okay. Srirangapatna is close by, walking distance if you like, with beautiful old temples and other sightseeing.

We had visited for dining at Kutira, i appreciate the ambience of truly awesome, never had such wonderful place for having lunch...... It was really an awesome experience Let's come to the point of food They have limited option of food available we ordered 1) masala papad - excellent 2) mushroom pepper- avarage (but crisp) 3) fish kabab - they have only fresh water fish, no sea fish available 4) no roti, only chapathi - Hard very hard 5) chicken butter masala- chicken was soft, no butter,no cream, filled with plenty of tomatoes, capsicum & onion 6) Curd rise - not great ok

Although it's projected as a resort but it's more like motel. But It's value for money accommodation and convenient because it's near the highway and has river front behind it. Building is newly built but cleanliness and upkeep can be better.

We stayed in Apr 2023 on our stopover from travel from Coorg to Bangalore. We checked in the hotel around 6pm and went out for dinner in Mysuru. When we came back around 10pm, it was raining heavily and our room was flooded with rain water. This was so disappointing as we were a family of 4, with 2 kids and really tired late at night. We requested the ***ager to give us another room which he declined as well. Finally 2 people came with mops to clean our room, which took about 1-2hrs for cleanup. The flooded balcony kept pouring the water inside our room. The room quality and staff behaviour is also not good. The room has seepage marks, TV hardly has any channels and staff always act over smart. The only thing good about this hotel is the location. This hotel has a nice done out area with river views. However, the staff are reluctant to serve food here and they keep asking guests to get food inside in a closed room. Overall this was not a good value for our money. I wouldn’t recommend anyone staying here.

Much like most other KSTDC hotels, Mayura riverview is a decent property. Being situated right beside the Cauvery river, this hotel is a great place to relax. Its close proximity to Bangalore makes it a good stopover point before your proceed to the destinations beyond Mysore. It offers great views of the river, and you can enjoy coracle rides too! The unpleasant part is, this place is thronged by government officials/workers, who, presumably, avail the accommodation at heavily subsidized prices. We happened to stay there on a Friday when we were the only family apart from the sarkari guys whom I DON'T INTEND TO DISRESPECT. With liquors/beers being served, the restaurant atmosphere turned out to be bitterly inhospitable for us. We requested the restaurant staff to serve us food outside the restaurant, close to the river bank, to which they disagreed, and asserted that food can be served only inside the restaurant. I tried to reason with them that women and kids find the atmosphere that prevailed in the restaurant, extremely uncomfortable, but they held their ground unrelentingly. I lodged a complaint to the ***ager who quickly offered to serve the food at a convenient location. Having been fed up with the staff's disobliging demeanor, I politely rejected his offer and went out to dine with my family. I will still visit this property again in future, but not venture into the restaurant ever again!

This resort does not have enough value for money. The location is very good (just by the river). But it is otherwise poorly and maintained. AC and TV in the room didn't work. Restaurant service was very slow and tedious. The bathroom mat in the room was not clean. It may have been OK for a fare of up to 3000 INR/night. But at 5000/night, it suddenly felt very, very expensive. That too, when the fare didn't include breakfast! Disappointed at KSTDC that runs this hotel. Other states such as Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh seem to be doing a better job at maintaining their state-run hotels. Karnataka needs to catch up. For now, I am going to skip KSTDC hotels next time around. Oh, and did I mention - the restaurant staff were happily partying away with beer and food past closing time - presumably at the tax-payers' expense!

It took 1 hour to take the order and 1 hour to deliver the food. Servers were very ada***t and asked us to move from one place to the other. Only good part is kids got a chance to go around the River in a small boat.

Location is great but hotel is not maintained well. Food was not good. Due to last minute booking, I could get only non AC room. Non AC Rooms are isolated from main hotel. No security was there for these rooms. Staff service and food quality needs lot of improvement. For the cost they charge, it is completely worthless.
