懷恩斯泰酒店(The Wynnstay Hotel, Oswestry, Shropshire)

What a beautiful location. From the moment we arrived and greated by the fabulous Lucie at reception, we felt so welcomed. We settled into our rooms, freshened up, and decided to have drinks in the bar before our evening meal. The food and service from chloe were outstanding. Followed by more drinks in the bar. After a great night, sleep in our king-size bed, and we came down for breakfast. Help yourself fruit, Yoghurts, juice, and pastries. Claudia came to take our order for cooked breakfast. It's so fresh and amazing. Her level of service was outstanding, remembering our drink order from the day before, also remembering the little things like my mum likes her bacon crispy and my dad has an allergy to egg. Sunday evening drinks in the bar were quieter than Saturday, which allowed Chris the Manager to sit and have a chat with us, learning more about him and his wonderful team. Adding the personal touch to our visit. We can't wait to come back soon.

Found a room at The Wynnstay at 5pm on a Saturday after our other nearby booking fell through. What a gem this hotel is! Friendly and helpful staff, swift and smooth check in (even though I’d only booked 20 minutes earlier via online). Dinner was excellent too. Atmosphere and decor were luxurious, and the bed and bathroom were really good.

Can’t fault this hotel, staff were all lovely, the room was immaculate and I love classical music so I thought it was such a nice touch to have classic fm playing in the room on arrival. Only down side was the view from the window was not the best. Would definitely recommend staying here.

From the moment we completed our booking in on-line prior to arrival to when we left, every aspect of our stay was excellent. The staff are polite and the service is of the highest order. The room was lovely and spotless. Breakfast was excellent. The town centre location is also ideal for exploring the town. We would highly recommend staying here and will certainly stay here again.

Lovely place though a bit tricky to find because of the town one way system. Good central location. Room was beautifully decorated. Shower was disappointing as it would not stay in place and the temperature varied. No information in room regarding meal times, check out etc.

The ambiance of the hotel is excellent, from the moment you walk through the doors to check in to the moment you check out you feel relaxed and welcomed. The room we had was really good, large enough to be very comfortable but not too big to make you feel as if you are rattling around in it. The bathroom was excellent and very well lit. My wife had the Eggs Royal for breakfast which looked amazing and she said it tasted as good as it looked. I had the full English breakfast which was really really good. ( I would stay here again just for the amazing mushrooms you get with your breakfast, they are so good) All in all I would highly recommend this hotel.

Had a one night stay at The Wynnstay to attend a family function. What a beautiful hotel with real character. The receptionist was lovely, all of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and am already looking forward to staying again!

A very pleasant one night stay on route to Wales. Room well furnished although a little on the small side. Large bathroom with full bath and shower. Breakfast excellent. Would definitely stay again.
