Here are a few suggestions for Hotel Himalaya:
1. The front desk and reception staff are polite and friendly, actively assisting with various issues.
2. However, due to outdated facilities, such as the bathroom, the water contains sediment, causing itchiness after showers.
3. There is no water dispenser, and using bottled water is not environmentally friendly.
4. The gym and some parts of the building are under renovation, resulting in noise pollution.
During our recent four-day stay at the Kutumba Hotel in Lalitpur, we experienced a truly delightful experience. The Kutumba Hotel was perfect for our stay before leaving Nepal for the USA. The attention to detail that the Kutumba Hotel displayed was truly commendable. Every corner of our accommodation exuded cleanliness and comfort, from the spotless bedroom to the immaculate bathroom. Returning to such a well-maintained space at the end of each day was a pleasure. However, what truly set this hotel apart was the exceptional treatment we received from the staff. Throughout our stay, we were met with genuine respect and unwavering politeness. The team's dedication to ensuring our comfort did not go unnoticed, and it truly made our experience even more memorable. One of the highlights of our stay was undoubtedly the rooftop restaurant. Its breathtaking views provided an ideal setting for enjoying dinner. The delicious cuisine and enchanting atmosphere will stay with us long. We look forward to the days until we can stay there again. Robin Lamgaday,
I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Shaligram Hotel! From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warm hospitality and exceptional service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and made me feel like family. The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, and spotlessly clean, offering all the modern amenities one could ask for while still maintaining a cozy, traditional touch. The location is perfect – nestled in a peaceful area yet close enough to explore the bustling streets of Kathmandu. The hotel's restaurant served delicious, freshly prepared meals, and the views were simply breathtaking. I truly appreciated the attention to detail, whether it was the seamless check-in process or the helpful tips for exploring the city. Shaligram Hotel provided a peaceful retreat after a day of sightseeing and was the highlight of my trip to Kathmandu. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!
I love to staying here. The location of the hotel is near Patan Durbar Square which is only 5min by walking and it is so nice to look around. They have different types of rooms and very beautiful garden where they serve breakfast. I really like the breakfast there is many options to choose. The staff were very kind, helpful and friendly.Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!
This quaint hotel is located barely a block away from Patan's Durbar Square. I stayed there for 3 nights while I was in Kathmandu for work. The rooms are atmospheric and full of ambiance, which is what I sought. There was a selection of Nepali or Contentinental breakfast included in my rate; I went with Nepali the whole time and really enjoyed it. The owner was incredibly kind and gave me my choice from several of the rooms. He was also very responsive via WhatsApp to any question I had regarding the city, making it easy for me to navigate. The hotel is also connected to rooftop restaurant overlooking the square, and being a guest at the hotel entitled me to a discount on my food, which I took advantage of my first night. Lovely entrée to the visit! While I immensely enjoyed my stay and would happily go back, a few items to note for other travelers: 1. I had excellent internet in my room, but the room was not ”designed” for business travelers - no desk; I did work from my bed. This was not a problem for me and most business travelers would stay at a different kind of hotel. Plus, a feature of being in this area is that there are a lot of fun cafés around, so why would you spend much time working from your room (during the day)? 2. The bathroom shower had hot water, but the shower ran for a long time before the water became hot. I mention this again just to help people manage expectations. 3. My particular room was on the first floor, so there was some street noise. There was only one night when I noticed it, however, and it did not last very long. There were other rooms more removed from the street, so this could have been avoided if it was something I was concerned about. 4. My particular room had a lower ceiling. I'm 5'5 and it was ok for me (and part of the overall charm). Taller people might not enjoy - but there were other rooms available with higher ceilings (so if you're tall, it might be something to mention when you make the booking). All in all, I had a wonderful stay and got exactly what I wanted! I would happily stay there again and hope I have the opportunity to do so!
訪訪客I recently stayed at this bed and breakfast for a work trip and it was perfect! The peaceful environment was just what I needed to focus and unwind after a busy day. It's situated away from the main street, providing a quiet retreat, yet still easily accessible to everything I needed. The breakfast options were excellent, with a variety of delicious choices to start my day right. The staff were incredibly accommodating and friendly, making my stay even more pleasant. I highly recommend this bed and breakfast for anyone looking for a tranquil and comfortable place to stay, whether for work or leisure. I'll definitely be back!
