錫吉什瓦拉卡瓦勒希爾頓逸林酒店(DoubleTree by Hilton Sighisoara - Cavaler)

2023年11月末～12月頭に掛けて一人で宿泊。 何はともあれヒルトン系列なので施設は綺麗に整っていて快適。朝食も十分豪華。立地も良く、時計塔などの旧市街部分へのアクセスも早い（裏の駐車場を抜けるように移動すると良いです。回り込むとちょっと時間がかかります）。隣に銀行があるのでATMでの現金引き出しも簡単。大きいスーパーまでは少し歩きますが、ホテル出て右手に回り込んだ所に小さな商店がありちょっとした飲み物や軽食を買うのも楽です。 無料とのことでスパも利用しましたが、プールとサウナがあるだけでジャグジーのような温浴設備はありませんでした。日本人的にはちょっと残念ですが海外なのでこれはしょうがない。 チェックアウトの際に清算金額を間違われそうになりました（朝食含むプランなのに朝食代を別途請求されそうになった）が、その旨指摘するときちんと謝罪したうえで正しい金額に直してくれたので、従業員の態度が良いとむしろ好印象。全体的にスタッフの愛想は良かった。 総じて良いホテルですが、何故かWifiのスピードが異常に遅く、1.9Mbps程度しか出ない上によく切断されるので、近所の携帯ショップで新たにSIMカードを購入する必要がありました。その点さえ改善されればパーフェクトでしょう。

Their are many great restaurants in Sighisoara this is not one of the went tonight music was disco loud when I suggested to manager that it wasn't appropriate for a food restaurant he laughed . Although only 6 tables in getting a waiter to serve you was almost impossible. I have been visiting the city for over 25years and can safely say the double tree is the worst experience I have had will never go back in

Large pillow top bed with good quality linen. We were impressed with the large fluffy bath towels and Crabtree & Evelyn free toiletries. The pool was nice after 5.00 pm once the general public were excluded. They sell hourly packages to non-guests and the pool was inundated with children and floating toys at about 3.00 p.m. The air conditioner is positioned below a large desk. There are ventilation holes in the desk about 1 metre to the left of the air conditioner. They didn’t work we couldn’t get the temperature below 25 degrees C. The bathroom fittings and tiles were in good condition, but it reeked of sewage. We could smell it before we entered our room. In fact, you could smell sewage walking around the lower town, especially when you walked over a grated manhole. The hotel gave us a bottle of fabric fragrance to deal with the smell. They said squirt the drapes with it. The room didn’t have any drapes, so we sprayed the shower curtain and the carpet and the bathmat. We put the bin over the drain hole in the floor and kept the bathroom door closed. The one dormer window had an external shutter and an internal blind. Both provided a dark room for a good sleep. The restaurant food was good and reasonably priced. The beer price was surprisingly good for a hotel (18 Ron for 2 x 400 ml Ursus premium draught).

This hotel is in a great location for visiting the old town. It offers free parking and has an indoor pool. The hotel is a little older but offered a comfortable stay. The satff were amazing and very helpful. Would stay again.

I checked in and paid for the Queen Duplex room - no. 229. We entered the room and we were sick of the smell of sewage. I requested the change and received room 120 - King Guest. We accepted the lower room because we were already tired from the road and we wanted to serve the meal. We waited until the next day, but we were not offered a refund of the price difference. I requested this and received it with difficulty, but not actually but in the form of a room credit. The amount granted was in no way compensation, but only the return of the price difference between the room reserved and paid for and the one actually offered. I felt as if I was begging, even though the request was perfectly justified and the law was even violated by the hotel.

Das Doubletree Sighisoara erinnert innen und außen sehr an ältere amerikanische Hotels, Ich bekamm ein Upgrade in eine zweietagige Suite, viel Raum mit eigenartiger Möblierung. Vom Hotel sind es nur ein paar Meter zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten des historischen Schäßburg mit Restaurants und Cafes. Der Frühstücksraum war sehr duster und groß, das Frühstück Mittelmaß. Man hat den Eindruck das Hotel lebt eher von Reisegruppen. Vom Bahnhof sind es rund 700 m, die ich bei Ankunft auf Grund fehlender Taxis gelaufen bin, zum Bahnhof hatte ich dann ein Taxi.

A very nice place, kind staff, excellent conditions, good food. I felt very relaxed in this wonderful place, it is a dream place where you find yourself .It is worth visiting, it is very close to the fortress, it has a beautiful view
