奧德爾斯西哈努克港酒店(Onederz Sihanoukville)

I here with my forth time of accommodation. I can feel the management look great than before. There're more staff than before and a friendly young man at night reception help me out almost everything here. The location is very authentic and can easy reach to any destinations in sihanoukville nearby and located in the city center. I've enjoy my 1 week holiday. Totally worth to spend with yourself, with friend or family.

This is not at all like other Onederz, I am surprised Onederz associating itself from this hotel. I made a mistake of booking 2 nights, I stayed only 1 and left the very next morning. The staff is TERRIBLE to say the least. All they are there is to give you key and to take it back from you. No help will be provided. I contacted my hostel in Koh Rong who helped me with information on boats and transportation, I couldn't even get that info from them. The location is in this out of nowhere Alley, nothing to do around. There are no events, nothing social. Forget about hanging out or going out at night, nothing like that exist. There is not even a decent restaurant around, and you will not want to eat If you see this location. Pool is a joke, its just a collection of water, you can really swim coz its just filthy water. Sihanoukville feels like a war zone, honestly. Unfinished buildings and trash everywhere. Nothing to do around, beaches are dirty. People will look at you weird if you walk around for a bit, doesn't feel safe. I don't know why I thought I could stay 2 nights here before coming to Koh Rong, dumbest plan ever. Just go directly to port from Phnom Penh and take a boat directly to the islands, no point staying here. And if you have to AVOID this hostel. Because I couldn't talk to anyone at reception, all they kept saying was tomorrow. I had messaged Agoda and also sent them a message asking if I can Get a refund for the unused night, they haven't still responded, it's been over 3 days. This place is a joke. It's just some local people running a homestay under onederz's name, I am Sure Onederz gonna take away its name soon. This place is a NO. Worst staff ever.

It's been an excruciatingly unpleasant stay. I asked to speak with the manager, the staff just ignored me. When I insisted, I was told "you can go to Phnom Penh and talk to him." I asked for the phone number, was denied. Definitely never coming back here. Too bad.

I booked a 6 bed dorm, but 1 guy kept rubbing and kicking the partition between bunks while another was eating, slurping food in bed while watching stuff on his phone, with sound on at 11:30 pm. I complained to staff along with pointing out room stank of BO and stinking food. Told they would switch me to another room to find someone already in that bunk. So ended up having to stay. 5am guy back on phone watching videos with sound on. I again went to staff. Who again did nothing. Second day was told they only had one 6 bed dorm I would have to switch to 8 bed. They only run the filters on the pool at night so it is so murky by mid morning you can't see the bottom in the stagnant water. Avoid swimming unless you are OK with picking up infections. Breakfast was barely passable. Warm bread is not toast. They don't want you wearing any type of footwear indoors but the common bathroom, men's, often had piss on the floor. Hand towels in bathroom were never changed in 4 days. Slippery tiles when wet throughout. I wore indoor sandals for these reasons to be given dirty looks by staff. They were OK with Asians wearing noisy flip flops indoors.

The room is spacious and clean, facilities are great, amenities are ok, location also great. Staffs are not too friendly, they are helpful but that's it, no initiatives as well, it just they are there to do their job and that's it, except for the cute lovely cat mascot that I love the most :D Price wise, compare to the pother accommodation around the area, this one of the best value for money, so when I'm around still choose this property as my first option to stay.

Excellent rapport qualité prix, j’ai loué une chambre à 22€ bien équipée : frigo bouilloire shampoing savon’ wifi ….très propre. Espace commun propre, de bon goût, convivial. Parfait pour une nuit avant de partir sur les îles car la ville de Sihanoukville est plutôt à éviter: chantiers de construction partout, tous les commerces sont chinois. Il faut savoir que l’embarquement pour les îles n’est plus au port de serendipity mais au port des ferrys à 5-6 kilomètres
