Had the best time, I went solo For the 1st time abroad and this hotel was the best it had a fab pool lovely apartment just perfect for me. Very handy for skiathos town only 5 min walk to the bars and restaurant, Il def come back.... Staff were very friendly and family owned hotel ☺️ Thanks again to everyone for my stay

Amazing stay at Skiathos Somnia! Great pool, fab central location, really friendly staff, lovely food, & extremely clean, well equipped apartments! Would highly recommend!

To start positively. Clean, friendly staff, family owned, situated excellently. But, The room we had. Pfew. A bit dungeon like. One small window next to he terrace of the neighbours. Adjacent in fact. An even smaller window next to the door. Two iron chairs and a table in a concrete hall? Yes, that's our terrace. A distance.

Great location just behind the bus station, nice and quiet and a short walk to the bars, restaurants. Rooms are adequate, small kitchenette with washing up liquid and scourer, small wardrobe. Lovely friendly staff. Bathroom has a small open shower with curtain. Nice for a short break but I'd want a better kitchen and bathroom for a longer stay

There is that “feeling like home” that only dedication and enthusiasm of the staff can make you experience. So many things are renovated since our last visit, including the pool area. Spotless clean, best location.

Me & my girlfriend wanted an affordable, clean place to sleep within walking distance of the town as we planned to spend our time out & about exploring different beaches, tavernas and eateries etc. Skiathos Somnia fit the bill perfectly. 5 minute drive from the airport, 2 minute walk from the car park, 5 minute walk into town. Location is really what sold us, 10/10. Staff were super friendly, room was spotless as was the entire hotel. Cleanliness 10/10, Staff 10/10. The room was very small but what we expected at that price. The pool and bar area were very well kept, pool was great, beer was cold, no complaints but nothing to write home about either. Was generally very quiet, definitely no fighting over sunbeds although we were never really there during the day. If you're after a luxury hotel, sunbathing by the pool, dinner on the balcony kind of holiday, this place is absolutely not for you. If you want to explore the Island, eat every meal in a different restaurant, experience the brilliant Skiathos Town night life and stumble no more than a few hundred yards to a clean bed, there really is no place more perfect. The pool & bar were a bonus for us, jumped in after a hot car ride back most evenings and drank a pint in the bar whilst drying off. We loved our Holiday at the Skiathos Somnia, we paid less than a third of the cost to spend the same week in the Atrium and we couldn't of been happier. Would highly recommend to people seeking the same sort of holiday we had.

Once again we have had a fantastic 2 weeks stay at Somnia. Kiki, George, Linda, Kosta and the the whole team have been amazing. Rooms are lovely and clean, pool area is very relaxing and no struggles to grab a sunbed. Thank you to you all for making our stay another great experience. We will see you again next year! Just come back from staying at the Sommnia , excellent stay with fantastic service from Linda an George and Kiki couldn’t do enough for us . Rooms where spotless and the breakfast was great too . We would recommend this hotel to anyone as the location and atmosphere of this place is fab . Thank you to all at the Sommnia in Skiathos town .

The Hotel is good, they have studios and apartments. Our studio had a lovely outside area. The room was a bit dark at the kitchen end, good in all other respects. Cleaning and changing of towels, etc exceeded what we expected. Lovely, helpful staff, everybody there. Nice pool. We stayed 10 nights. Hotel very well situated for Port and town.

Excellent location, very clean hotel and an excellent pool area. Food served at breakfast and lunch and the bar is excellent. We had a twin room, the apartments are basic but I don’t go on holiday to stay in the room. Nice balcony with chairs and a table

First the good: The location is superb, within easy walking distance of the town. The rooms were kept spotlessly clean. The staff were helpful and friendly. The bad: The rooms are tiny and very tired. The bed was wobbly and very noisy. Whilst aircon is installed, it was locked so we were unable to lower the temp and the room was hotter than hell. The bathroom was very small and it was almost impossible to move around in the shower. The pool area was kept clean but the age-old problem of people reserving beds then going out or going back to bed was more than apparent. Maybe we were just unlucky with our room but this hotel could be so much better.

25th June to 9th July….the best thing about this hotel is definitely the staff who are absolutely lovely and George was so accommodating with the football..,downsides, rooms are a bit dated and dingy but the pool area is lovely. Location is fabulous for harbour and waterfront and some fabulous restaurants two minutes away ( highly recommend Scuna). Concerned that people are sleeping in vans literally 50 feet away from front entrance but I’m not sure what the hotel could do about this. Skiathos is beautiful but might look for a better hotel next time.

We eventually got moved here by Love Holiday after a massive drawn out complaint, after the hotel we booked was not fit to stay in, we arrived at 8pm ish, after being up since the morning of the day before, but as soon as i walked into the room i breathed a sigh of relief! Staff were friendly from the moment we arrived, offered to carry suitcases up two flights of stairs. Room wasn't massive but definitely big enough, air con much welcomed, we did have abit of difficulty working this at first but once we had the right setting it was fine. Kitchen area the most well stocked I've seen in similar accomodation throughout Greece, could easily eat in for any meal. We had two single beds, one didnt make any noise, one squeaked and groaned with every slight toss and turn, maybe it was just the next to be replaced. Walls are also fairly thin so you do hear next door/ the corridor at times - we were so tired each night that on the whole neither thing bothered us too much, but just something to be aware of! Only thing room was lacking was a full length mirror- not a deal breaker by any stretch of the imagination but when you are humming and hahhing over outfits multiple times a day like we were, it would've helped 🤣 Lovely balcony overlooking the road, good to people watch. Staff were helpful and friendly throughout, helped with remotes not working, more pillows etc always smiled and chatted/ said hi. They were as helpful as possible from their end in us sorting out our ongoing issues with love holiday too. Pool area lovely, cleaned regularly, only slight issue which we noticed more as the days went (getting further into high season) was not enough sunbeds on some days for all who wanted them, we managed but this could cause disappointment in the height of summer. Linda who did the breakfasts/ worked behind the bar was especially lovely and worked very hard! As did the cleaners! Brilliant location for port and town! A lovely accidental find!

We have just returned back from this small and friendly hotel, I can most certainly recommend. On arrival the room allocated for us was not the one I had booked directly with Kostas the owner, however the friendly staff quickly got onto business and moved us to our preferred room the following day which was great. The only minor I have is there isn't enough sunbeds for the hotel size, which unfortunately people mark the beds very early so we were only able to use this facility the once. Overhaul a very nice family run hotel with excellent staff and perfect location... we will certainly return.
