The House of Pomegranates, Sliema Malta.... It is a lovely period Maltese townhouse that has been lovingly and kindly been renovated to a nice standard for the Airbnb market. It has that period feel as soon as you walk in, wanting to tell its stories of the past! Our room (No.4) had it's own balcony over looking the street (Triq San Vincenz, Tas-Sliema), giving off the bygones era days. We had a very large bed (two large single together), basic/period furniture and and en-suite with full double shower. It did get somewhat chilly on a few evening, but this was on a rare occasion Malta was suffering some terrible weather. The Apartment did offer an extra blanket, and for those that are landing late there is toiletries within the property. The Property also boasted a shared kitchen which was small and minimal (thought we didn't need or use it as we eat out) On the occasion when we stayed, unfortunately there were some individuals that were a little unkept and didn't clean up after themselves which was I think the only downside due to the smell when coming down the stairs the following morning for our day out. all in all, the property is managed by Owen, who is super helpful, nothing is ever and issue ans always replies and response to questions and queries. We would definitely recommend and stay again ourselves as ideally situated within walking distance to most of Sliema, though walking down hill always seems the better option?
