松林酒店(The Pinewood Hotel)

Limited bar .service finished at 1030pm. Lift broken so all the fire doors wedged open to provide staircase access. Then no hot water for shower in the morning. We told reception who shrugged and said they knew, queried why no one let us know .to be told they are trying to fix it. Left at ten am. Didn't bother with breakfast just headed home early so we could have a shower

Great location for my trip. Everything as advertised. Will stay again

There was poor Wi-Fi signal in the bedroom which was unusable as it disconnected every minute and when it was connected was so slow that nothing loaded before it disconnected again. Breakfast was shown as included for in my booking but this was actually chargeable as an extra when I was there.

Room was smelly on the day of check in and informed them about it but they didn’t turn up despite of their assurances. On the next day I saw some spiders on the floor and one dead in the corner of the room. Because of this I couldn’t sleep for 2 nights. The irony is when I informed them they were trying to justify it by the location of the hotel. It was a horrible stay but they never mind it and even didn’t bother to contact me about these issues.

The property are grave robbers! It costs a lot of money to stay here but what you get is a shoe box size of a room, an uncomfortable bed, a chair which is painful to sit in. The room smells like the drains have gone off. Air con was not working and the supplied fan did little to relieve the heat. The Tv was small and the room was difficult to locate through the miles of corridors. Just to top it off I got a puncture in the car park. The parking area isn’t up to scratch either.. Just an awful place to stay and my biggest smile was when I left! I feel swindled for having to pay a lot of money for nothing. Terrible. Please avoid at all costs!!!!!!

There was a party downstairs with loud music reverberating in the room I was allocated. I immediately asked to be moved which the receptionist didn't hesitate about. My next room was in the annexe building. Nice and quiet but incredibly hot - I turned the heating to 16 degrees but was hot all night. An accessible shower with tons of lovely hot water. But also very mouldy tiles. Damaged/ dirty carpet in the bedroom. Bed comfy. Everything I would expect in a room for a one night stay. Didn't have breakfast.

Bathroom door looked dirty and old. The bathroom smelt of a dirty drain which ruined the stay as the smell seeped into the room. No one bothered to clean our room at all. Free parking is good. No wifi in the room. Food very expensive and over cooked. Unhappy with my stay

I would have given this hotel full marks if it had not been for the fact that there was a very loud disco on the Friday night we stayed. The noise started off at a bearable level but then got louder and louder and did not finish until one o'clock in the morning. We had had a 5 am start that day and just wanted to get a good night's sleep, but there had been no warning or indication that there would be loud music playing.
