Easily check in and check out Just like an old hotel but with nice decoration.. Location ok,very clean,very friendly staff.. Overall very satisfied with the stay and value for money..

Puede que haya habitaciones mejores, pero no recomiendo ir a la 103. La moqueta está muy sucia y tiene manchas de humedad. La ducha se inunda; parece un pantano. Solo había una toalla de lavabo y otra de baño. El vaso para lavarse los dientes está guarro como para coger una infección. Hay hervidor de agua, pero muy sucio. La cama es muy baja; a las personas de mi edad nos cuesta un poco levantarnos de ahí. Por otro lado, tengo que decir que en la habitación hay cinco enchufes, suficientes para cargar el móvil, la táblet, el e-reader,... En pocos hoteles he tenido tantos. Otras cosas buenas: bien comunicado con el centro, al que se puede llegar andando en 15 minutos. El bufet del desayuno es perfecto, al menos para mí.

Ligging uitstekend, dicht bij metrostation. Ook te voet gemakkelijk centrum te bereiken. Ruime kamers en stil. Geen last van verkeer. Wifi was beperkt in onze kamer, op andere plaatsen oké. Het uitgebreid ontbijt was echt uitstekend. Ik zou zeker terugkomen.

1 gece konaklama için bu hoteli tercih ettik. merkeze yürüme mesafesinde. önünde birkaç araçlık otopark mevcut. resepsiyon ingilizce konuşuyor ve odamızı hemen teslim etti. odalar ***et geniş. sadece odaların yenilenmesi gerekli. kahvaltısı yeterliydi.

Hotel molto carino in una posizione invidiabile a due passi dalla metropolitana, a 5 minuti dal centro commerciale Mall of Sofia e a 10 minuti dal centro della città. L'albergo è carino, pulito ed il personale è molto gentile e disponibile (infatti non capisco chi lo ha criticato). La camera era molto pulita e grande, la doccia comoda così come il resto del bagno nel quale si trovano molti accessori come shampoo balsamo, bagnoschiuma, crema corpo, asciugacapelli. È presente un frigobar molto fornito e con prezzi popolari ed anche un bollitore per l'acqua con compresi nel prezzo due the e due caffè solubili al giorno. Sala colazioni accogliente con una buona scelta di dolce e soprattutto di salato con prodotti di ottima qualità ed in quantità più che sufficienti per tutti gli ospiti. Se dovessimo tornare a Sofia questo hotel sarebbe senza di bio la nostra prima scelta.

Καμία σχέση οι φωτογραφίες με την πραγματικότητα. Μείναμε σ δωμάτιο με παιδί για ένα βράδυ. Η κράτηση ήταν για 3 βράδια.Πηρα τηλέφωνο στην booking για επιστροφή χρημάτων.μέναμε στην σοφίτα που Δ λειτουργεί το κλιματιστικό με 26 βαθμούς έξω.το στρώμα χαμηλό κ τρυπιο. Βρήκαμε τρίχες στα σεντόνια. Η ντουζιέρα πλημμύρισε κ έφευγαν τα νερά απ έξω. Σοβάδες στα πλαϊνά του τοίχου. Μοκέτα λερωμένη κ καμένη σ πολλά σημεία. Η χειρότερη διαμονή που έχω κάνει. Κάναμε παράπονα για το στρώμα κ είπαν θα το αλλάξουν την επόμενη. Το ίδιο βράδυ είπαμε για το κλίμα κ είπαν αυτό τον μήνα Δ λειτουργεί.. Ιουνιο μήνα.. Ζητήσαμε ακύρωση κράτησης κ πλήρη επιστροφή χρημάτων που έγινε απ booking. Το ξενοδοχείο είναι για ένα αστέρι κ πολυ

A good cross between proximity to metro station, proximity to town, and budget. ROOMS - a little dated and needed TLC. Room is spacious. Whatever's supposed to be working is working. Do note the AC automatically turns off when the windows are opened. There is sufficient space at the toilet basin to put my own toiletries. SERVICE - no complaints. Front desk staff speaks English. BREAKFAST - Small but sufficient to get the day started. There are fruits, cheese, ham, bread, eggs, coffee/tea, juice etc LOCATION - near Opalchenska metro which is 1 stop away from Serdika, short walk to Mall of Sofia. Do note the Opalchenska exit nearest to the hotel has no lift (I'm not sure if that station has any lift at all?). Yellow! App ride to Airport is about BGN 22. Overall I rated it five stars because there were no issues faced, whatever's supposed to be working is working, location is good. I travelled solo.

This hotel badly needs some refurbishment . The room carpet was very worn , the lighting in the room poor , the bathroom shower went everywhere with no curtain and so after showering everywhere in the bathroom was wet . No pictures on the dimly lit walls or decoration of any kind . The bed was so low that getting up from it was a struggle . The breakfast buffet was comprehensive but sometimes all the tables were full . The bar closed early so coming back at 10.0 you couldn't get a drink . The staff weren't friendly ( one exception was one of the receptionists ) . It's well positioned close to the centre and about 200m from a stop on the metro that goes straight to the airport . With some TLC it might be a future choice - otherwise I'd go elsewhere next time

Hotel is very disappointing. The pictures on its website do not match with the reality. Bedrooms are very old style. Dirty moquette everywhere. Dirty walls. The breakfast is very bad. Bad food, low quality and the breakfast room is very ugly. Curtains look very old and dirty. Concerning our breakfast today, all the tables were dirty, coffee machine did not work, no glasses, buffet breakfast was half empty. My advice : choose another hotel.

As a solo British traveller I wanted to mix comfort with low cost and this hotel was perfect. It's a 2 minute walk from the Opalchenska metro station which is on a direct line from the airport. Any journey on the metro is 1.60 Lev (about 75p) to and from any location - I really recommend using it for all your transport needs. I paid about £50 (about 120 Lev) for 2 nights including buffet breakfast in Bulgarian style which was excellent. The hotel is not an expensive establishment so don't expect the Ritz but for the price I paid I'm more than happy and would definitely visit again. If you are visiting Sofia and are happy to walk lots, you can do all the major sights in 24 hours including spending 2 hours on top of Mt Vitosha. I did this. Lots of public transport and you're away! To reach Mt Vitosha take the red/yellow metro line from Opalchenska to Serdica, switch to the blue line to Vitosha, then leave the metro and board the 66 bus (also 1.60 Lev) to Hotel Moreni. The public transport here is regular, cheap and reliable. I also recommend seeing St Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, Borisova Gradina Park and stopping for a quick lunch in the Paradise shopping centre (next to Vitosha metro stop). I ate a slightly pricier dinner which was outstanding at the Cosmos restaurant where the English was well-spoken. My trip up Mt Vitosha however was the highlight of my short stay in Sofia, it was beautiful and extremely peaceful. In total including my 100 Lev meal at Cosmos, I brought 210 Lev which was the perfect amount including tips for stay (arriving Saturday 10pm and leaving Monday 3pm).

Stayed at City Avenue for a week, and I rarely write reviews but was so happy with my time here I thought I had too. Staff extremely friendly and spoke English which helped as I didn’t speak any Bulgarian. Rooms are clean and pretty large for a 3 star hotel. Comfy beds, extremely efficient cleaning of rooms. Lovely smoking area garden and the hotel is in a great location for transport links or a short walk to city centre. 100% would stay here again if I come back to Sofia!

È stata davvero una brutta esperienza, ho ricevuto un NO a qualsiasi domanda. Anche alla più semplice, avete un latte vegetale?? NO Potete procurarlo? Ci fermiamo 4 giorni e siamo in due. NO La moquette è molto sporca, avete delle ciabattine da bagno?? NO Ho dimenticato l'adattatore, mi serve una shucko. NO Colazione del mattino scarsa, igiene inesistente tutto a buffet scoperto. Zero scelta e le cose che finiscono non vengono riassortite. Alle dieci in punto senza nessun avvertimento tolgono tutto, se non si è attenti si rimane fregati. Anche del poco che c'è. Io sono scesa solo due giorni, davvero non vale la pena. Le pulizie in camera sono sommarie e occorre chiamare la reception per farsele fare. Comunque si limitano a cambiare gli asciugamani e a piegare in quattro i piumoni. La foto che metto è quello che ho trovato al rientro. La mia camera era super rumorosa, un incubo. Il sistema di ventilazione non si poteva arrestare e quindi andava di continuo. Oltretutto sentivamo l'ascensore senza sosta. Veramente pessimo. Non Andateci. Siamo stati molto spesso a Sofia e ci siamo sempre trovati bene anche in hotel economici come questo. Mobili vecchi e rotti, fili elettrici volanti, macchie sul muro, vetri sporchi, parti in legno delle finestre scrostati e marci. Comunque vedete tutto nelle foto

Das Hotel liegt etwas außerhalb der Stadtmitte, jedoch ist eine Metrostation in der Nähe, so daß man schnell überall hin kommt. Mein Zimmer war etwas altbacken eingerichtet, dafür gab es aber eine gut funktionierende Aircon und eine gut bestückte Minibar (zu recht günstigen Preisen). Das Frühstück war okay, aber mir "richtiges Brot" gefehlt - Es gibt nur Toast...

Hotel in ottima posizione vicino alla metro. Buffet mattutino salato, per chi ama il dolce soltanto dei mini cornetti e marmellata. Camere pulite, peccato la moquette che impera. Reception alla buona. Entri e nemmeno ti salutano, sempre che non stiano fuori a fumare
