阿克德酒店(Hotel Akord)

酒店位於一個安靜的區域，距離市中心有點遠。我有點惱火，淋浴的水一直流到廁所，但這不是問題。

Las camas eran muy blandas, pero ojalá hubiera sido ése el mayor problema. Lo peor fueron los bichos y esa especie de cucarachas que había por toda la habitación (adjunto fotos). Matamos 3, y no quisimos buscar más porque nos estábamos poniendo enfermos. Muy complicado conciliar el sueño así. Y todo empeora cuando el hotel dice que no nos compensa, que nos conformemos con un 'lo siento'. Que como no avisamos a recepción no pueden hacer nada... ¿Para que fumiguen la habitación con nosotros dentro? ¿Para cambiarnos a otra habitación a la 1 de la madrugada con las maletas sin hacer? Como si los culpables fuéramos nosotros. Es increíble.

I used to go regularly to that hotel, because of the location. Will never go back there! July 1th the hotel doesn't have AC when is 35 degrees outside, when i called reception he said better open the window. Still cant believe that is even possible, on top on that there was a sign states that we the tax payers paid that hotel 500 000 for COVID. This hotel is NO GO forever

The hotel was difficult to find. Once we found it… the greatest things from this hotel was the gentleman at the reception desk. Kind, always available and helpful! The hotel look disappointing and do not match the pictures in the advertisement in *******. It’s very run down, the entrance is dark, smells like cigarettes and dirty floors. The room was clean and big. But it does need to be update. I would not recommend it…. It has potential because it’s close to the airport.

I stayed in the hotel for about 10 days. The single room was small but pleasant, with the caveat that the bed was SUPER SMALL. It was barely big enough for a single person, even smaller than the twin size - something important to keep in mind when booking. Another unexpected surprise - the hotel does not provide basic toiletries (soap and shampoo), so come prepared. I want to add here that there WAS a hand soap dispenser but I don't think that you can use hand soap for anything else but hands. You get one big towel and one small towel, changed fresh every day, plan your bath time accordingly. While the staff is friendly and helpful, many of them don't speak English or have very limited vocabulary. The hotel does provide breakfast but from the feedback from other guests I did not think to try it out so I can't say anything about its quality. The area around the hotel is calm and quiet with good public transport. The metro station is a few minute walk along the boulevard, there are a couple of trolley bus lines not too far either and the biggest arena is within walking distance. There are a few restaurants with good food and good prices but they are well hidden, make sure to do your research beforehand (or ask the hotel staff). The biggest disadvantage for me (big enough to discourage me visiting the country again) - smoking is tolerated pretty much everywhere, there were groups of people smoking at the entrance at all times. The hotel could do better protecting its customers suffering from severe asthma and other respiratory conditions.

Para 1 noche de paso y simplemente dormir, eso sí en una habitación doble, porque la twin tiene dos sacos de muelles por colchones. Tuvimos que pedir el cambio de habitación por la mala calidad de los colchones en lo que no se podía descansar.

We were a large group who stayed at Akord hotel for 10 days, and we all agreed on the following: - The hotel has a major hygiene problem; spider webs at the ceiling corners, bed sheets are not changed frequently, bad sewage smell at the bathrooms, cockroaches at the reception… - They switched off the a/cs on all rooms claiming it is the hotel policy.. The weather was too hot and kids were unable to sleep. -Extremely rude receptionist who asked us to check-out if we are feeling uncomfortable - No room service, no safe inside the room or even at the reception, no cleaners or helpers after 5 pm. I do not recommend staying at this hotel at all.

Whilst a budget hotel, Akord, is clean, away from traffic, near a Metro stop, and next to a reasonable restaurant. Rooms were clean, a few toiletries, a small fridge, comfy bed, helpful staff. It was very busy while I was there with people from all over the world, so Akord must be doing something right! I'd stay again.
