色雷斯酒店(Rosslyn Thracia Hotel Sofia)

Let me start by saying I have traveled to over 60 countries and stayed in many hotels. I do not give out a low rating unless deserved. My husband and I had an early flight to Sofia, arriving around 9:30AM. We are very much aware that it is not always possible to check in that early but thought we would just ask, doesn’t hurt to ask. We walked in and give our name saying we were checking in and before we could even say that we knew we were early, the girl behind the desk says in a not so friendly tone that we are too early. She said you are way too early you cannot check in this early, check in is at 3PM. We say ok that’s fine, so we leave our bags and go out. We come back to hotel around 1PM and check in, no info such as helpful tips and maybe a map or where to go, nothing. Our room was nice. Our bathtub didn’t hold water and the shower head barely trickled water out. We did tell the front desk, they fixed the shower head but not the tub. On our last day we decided to ask the same young rude girl if she could help us arrange a taxi to the airport and she told us “ that’s a very long process and I cannot do that with only a days notice.” She suggests we try to find a taxi ourselves at 7AM without any clue as to where we might do this. The day we checked out there was a man behind the desk and we thought maybe he could help us arrange a taxi, he says sure, no problem, all I have to do is press a button and the taxi will be here within 5 minutes. So luckily this nice man literally pressed a button, I saw him do it and the taxi arrived shortly after. So not sure as to what long process was involved in that. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Go somewhere where the staff are friendly and helpful and don’t make you feel like a bother.

L’hotel è in posizione centralissima, a 50 metri da Vitosha Boulevard e a più o meno 1 km da tutte le attrazioni principali. La zona manco a dirlo è sicura e l’hotel è vicino a un sacco di locali, ristoranti e qualunque genere di negozi. Posizione quindi ottima. L’hotel è nuovissimo, le camere sono spaziose, pulite con dei letti comodi e grandi. Wifi funzionante e veloce. Lo staff alla reception è molto gentile e affabile. L’unica grande pecca è secondo me la colazione…c’è a mio modo di vedere poca scelta per essere un 4 stelle, parte dalle 7.30 della mattina e il personale non ha sprecato un saluto o un sorriso in 5 mattine. Probabilmente fa parte del carattere chiuso dei bulgari ma almeno non fate sembrare di essere scocciati. Un giorno addirittura mi hanno portato via i piatti quando stavo finendo di mangiare. Appurato ciò per il rapporto qualità prezzo ci tornerei

Che dire... posizione eccellente, personale cortese, sorridente e sempre disponibile al dialogo. Ogni membro dello staff si è dimostrato pronto a supportare le nostre necessità, fornendo informazioni su attrazioni locali, negozi, nonché assistenza nelle prenotazioni di ristoranti e taxi. Le camere sono spaziose e straordinariamente confortevoli, con un letto incredibilmente comodo che invita al riposo, una stanza ben riscaldata per un'atmosfera accogliente. Bagno luminoso e spazioso. La colazione, buona e ispirata ai sapori locali, è stata un altro dei punti di forza di questa struttura. Ma quello che ha veramente reso il mio soggiorno indimenticabile è stata l'attenzione per i dettagli: informati del mio compleanno, hanno preparato una bellissima sorpresa consistente in una bottiglia di vino e un biglietto di auguri pieno di pensieri affettuosi. Non posso fare a meno di raccomandare vivamente questo hotel a chiunque cerchi un'esperienza ospitale e ricca di attenzioni personalizzate. Un vero esempio di eccellenza nel servizio e nell'ospitalità.

Attratti dalla posizione e dalle recensioni abbiamo deciso di soggiornare in questo hotel. In effetti la posizione è eccezionale e le camere abbastanza comode . Ma la colazione totalmente da dimenticare. Allestita nella hall con poco salato e il dolce rinsecchito(sicuramente vecchio di qualche giorno)e con poca scelta . C’è,allo stesso prezzo, tanto di meglio a Sofia

Central location and comfortable mattress. However, the room contained sharp corners and trip hazards. The shower was leaking. TV does not connect on Wi-Fi. Poorly designed bathroom as the shower cabin is dated and with a strong potential of hitting head when entering or exiting. Tissue dispenser placed so close to the toilet bowl that it is extremely uncomfortable. Damp and dusty air in the corridors. No bar or restaurant, the lobby is small. This hotel is miles away from claimed standards.

Posizione perfetta, in pieno centro. Camera molto grande e ben arredata, tanti prodotti per il bagno e lenzuola nuove e pulitissime. Non metto giudizio 5 stelle perché la colazione, 20 euro al giorno in due, era veramente scarsa. Servita in 4 tavolini nell’ingresso, probabilmente perché la sala colazioni era inagibile, era molto sguarnita, anzi direi che non c’era praticamente nulla se non 4 panini, due fette di prosciutto e poco altro. Per il resto era tutto finito: cornetti, crêpes, uova, yogurt, frutta. Abbiamo chiesto di avere qualcosa e il ragazzo ci ha servito un po’ di yogurt e basta. Ci ha detto che occorreva aspettare per il resto, che era da solo e che avevano mangiato tutto. Capisco che la situazione può essere emeregenziale se la sala colazioni è in ristrutturazione, ma avrebbero dovuto servire la colazione al bar a fianco o darla in omaggio. Una coppia che è scesa dopo di noi, che avevamo finito il poco che c’era, se ne è andata…

Chambres spacieuses et confortables Hôtel très bien placé en centre ville, à 2 pas de la rue piétonnes. Le petit déjeuners est correct, on n'est pas sur un buffet intercontinental avec un choix comme on peut trouver ailleurs en Europe mais disons que ça passe.
