Great hotel with awesome views. The service is top notch and the staff will go the extra mile. The grounds are immaculate. But, very very hard and uncomfortable beds. Quite disappointing considering how expensive this hotel is …. And left a bad taste

Un compleanno da Sogno! È stata una bellissima avventura, coccolati da un personale fantastico e in un luogo da incanto. La direttrice (Tiziana Laterza) è stata stupenda e ha reso tutto possibile e meraviglioso. Lo chef stellato Montefusco ha preparato delle leccornie e il buffet dei dolci addirittura sublime.

Quando soggiorno in questo posto meraviglioso sono coccolata da tutte le stupende persone che vi lavorano! E mi si apre il cuore non appena mi affaccio dalla famosa terrazza sul golfo di Sorrento….Qualche giorno fa con la mia famiglia abbiamo organizzato una grande festa nei saloni storici dell’hotel, con moltissimi amici venuti da ogni dove e con la temperatura mite ci è stata data la possibilità di usufruire della terrazza Vittoria, arredata e attrezzata di tutto punto anche con funghi termici e copertine per gli ospiti! Ci è stata servita una cena squisita a firma dello chef stellato Antonino Montefusco, resident chef di Terrazza Bosquet accompagnata da pregiati vini campani. Tutto ciò è stato possibile realizzarlo per le premurose attenzioni del personale magistralmente diretto e seguito passo passo durante tutto lo svolgimento dalla direttrice del grand hotel Tiziana Laterza ❤️

Que hotel ! Quanta historia.! Em plena Sorrento, na praça principal, um hotel familiar, uma administração hoteleira exemplar, uma arquitetura única. Seus jardins, sua piscina são incríveis. Seus quartos extremamente confortáveis, muitos com vista mar e vista para o Vesuvio...Seu terraço, vista mar é de uma beleza marcante. Seus restaurantes, maravilhosos.. E o serviço, como poucos..!! Hotel 5**** com atendimento carinhoso e diferenciado

In troubled economic times they are necessary, I know - BUT not at expense of services to paying guests in a 5 star. !!!± This is one of my favorite hotels in the world. I've stayed there 4/5 times and my wife 3 times.. In Italy on business - afterwards we stayed in Otranto, Puglia ( Hotel Palazzo Papaleo - now one of my. favorites also - see separate review, top drawer !!)) but drove for 5 hours before returning through Napels to Sorrento for one night rest. We were received wonderfully at gate by a wonderful calm and polite gentleman, but at end of avenue had to wait 5 minutes in car until someone noticed us and moved a wedding party out of the way of our car. Then an outside bell man, shouted "have you your passport " at me several times as I got out and stretched to enjoy wonderful gardens, and " have you bags" slightly put out, we went inside to the more familiar and friendly faces of concierges . At reception desk, we were asked if this was our first time after taking our details ( surely they could have checked?) even after we explained that it certainly wasn't, we were told that we would be " shown the hotel facilities " before being taken to our room, we said no need since ( as we had said) we had visited many times.... The room was great ( an upgrade - presumably because others were taken by wedding guests / compensation ) We asked for dinner reservations and were "told they would see what could be done ..(?)" I headed for pool for a rest after drive and my wife to a quiet spot to read, but given Wedding she sat in the room....... Pool was mercifully uncrowded save for 6 /7 very loud and drunk american couples shouting while holding drinks in shallow end. But pool service was super as usual. Returned to be told NO eating facilities in hotel because of Wedding !! We said we woulds settle for the pool area but that was not available either.......We were sent to a nearby restaurant where food and service were excellent, but not what we expected. Very loud and full . Returned to bed as wandering wedding guests were a nuisance in hotel facilities and terrace was jammed. Breakfast was usual superb service and selection. Car ready bang on time and we left next morning - not quite as restored and rested as I had expected, nevertheless I will be back next year , probably several times. BUT first I will ask if hotel has a wedding and is it full.......... DJS

Everything about this hotel oozes class. From the moment we turn into the gates from Tasso Square we feel that we are coming home. We have been visiting this hotel for many years and it never disappoints. The friendliness of the staff, so many are there year after year, to the immaculate condition of the hotel and the first class service is unrivalled. Having returned home last week, our flights are already booked for 2024.

Nous avons passé un sublime séjour!! Tout est parfait ! L hôtel est magnifiquement beau alliant beauté art et confort. on se croirait dans un musée tellement c est beau. Chambre extrêmement confortable (suite avec vue sur jardin). Un Harve de paix en plein centre de Sorrento. Magnifique vue panoramique au Bar Vittoria. Personnels extrêmement avenants et attentionnés. Petit déjeuner Royal, succulent dans une grande et magnifique salle vue sur mer et une pianiste pour le plus grand plaisir des convives! Tout est pensé pour passer un moment magique dans la belle ville de Sorrento. Un grand MERCI Grand Hotel Excelsior Vittoria! Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir
