伊格別墅酒店(Hotel Villa Igea)

We had a great stay. The view, room, facilities were wonderful. The hotel staff were very supportive. They really helped us out in sorting out some local logistics.

ambiente scadente e sporco. le stanze quadruple erano in realtà doppie con due letti aggiunti. La colazione a buffet era composta unicamente da brioches surgelate e qualche panino con prosciutto e formaggio, una volta finita la teglia di brioches non viene rifornita. Piatti sporchi e tovaglie sporche dal pomodoro dei giorni prima. siamo stati 4 giorni e per 1 emmezzo non c'era l'acqua e ci siamo dovuti lavare con le bottigliette d'acqua. I camerieri scontrosi e non acconsentono alle richieste dei clienti (non ci hanno dato il formaggio perchè secondo loro non stava bene con la pasta con la zucca)

Siamo stati in questo hotel come viaggio di gruppo, potrebbe essere una buona struttura in quanto comoda a Sorrento per i servizi. Purtroppo però il personale è assolutamente disattento alle esigenze delle persone e all’interno delle camere. Dopo una richiesta per qualcosa da mangiare in camera in quanto una persona è arrivata in tarda serata, non si sono preoccupati il giorno successivo di togliere il vassoio dalla camera, così come le bustine del sapone usato dalla doccia, dove all’arrivo mancava pure la tenda che abbiamo fatto mettere dopo, per evitare di allagare la camera. La cosa più grave è la mancanza di attenzione e il menefreghismo alle esigenze alimentare delle persone con problemi, comunicate settimane prima. Oltretutto l’hotel ha necessitata di una ristrutturazione importante. Non credo ritorneremo.

This was the last hotel we stayed at on our recent 3 week trip to Italy. We arrived to learn the elevator was out service and we were on the top floor. If this was all that happened, it would have been fine. We got to our room to find there was someone else's hair all over the soap dispenser, a mattress that felt like a box spring only and no wifi. Apparently our room was too far from the router to get the wifi. The first morning we went down for breakfast. The first dish I picked up had food all over the bottom of it. The only redeeming quality was the view.

Overall we enjoyed our stay - the room was quite small and beds were uncomfortable. The view from the room was spectacular. The breakfast, showers and pool were great. The location was very convenient with a bus stop out front, a convenience store across the street and a small cafe next door.

The food was awful! There was no variety or choice on the menu. The rooms were in need of redecorating and were damp with mould! Stains on linen. Pool disgusting and not useable. The whole hotel needs a total revamp and decoration.

We got placed in this hotel last minute after our other hotel cancelled on the day - so just to be clear we didn’t choose this hotel. The location is good - €1.70 bus right outside the door takes you to the centre of town and back and is easy to use. Also it is right near a fantastic swimming hole you can walk to and a great panini shop and mini mart. The staff were nice and the place was clean. However we did have a few issues with the room. The water pressure was either so high the drain couldn’t drain it fast enough or zero. The towels were very stiff and scratchy. The air conditioning was useless. The whole hotel also gave a vibe of a retirement home. Wouldn’t stay again.

Hotel Villa Igea was the perfect stay for such a perfect holiday. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and the location of the hotel was perfect for a nice quiet stay. Although slightly out of town the hotel offered a free shuttle to get you into the centre of Sorrento which was ideal. Couldn't recommend this hotel enough for location and comfort.
