No detail missed. Beautifully done with so much to look at I felt like I was in a museum, in a good way. Candlelight breakfast and the food was scrumptious. Very helpful with recommendations for things to do. Don’t miss the restaurant next door, Tippecanoe and the Studebaker museum. And the beds were very comfortable as well. I would definitely recommend The Oliver Inn

My husband and I stayed here and absolutely loved it! Tom and Alice were very friendly and made you feel like family right away. They have created a wonderful atmosphere . I loved the history of the house. The room was very clean and comfortable. The only disappointment I have was that my bath water was not hot . That will not keep us away though. We hope to stay here again.

My husband & I met some friends here who had discovered this jewel the year before. This house is absolutely gorgeous, extremely clean…..everywhere you look, not a cobweb or dust in sight. We slept in The Knute Rockne room. The room & bathroom are very large, so lots of space. Walk-in closet and since the weather was so unseasonably pleasant, we got to enjoy sitting out on our own private balcony. The breakfasts were so good & the goodies left in the kitchen for us to help ourselves to were so yummy. The kitchen is kept stocked with water, juices, soft drinks, coffee & teas for us to again help ourselves to. Alice is a phenomenal cook/baker! We decided to not go out 1 day & stay in to play games. They were helpful in finding us an extra table to play on & offered anything else we might have needed. Alice & Tom are wonderful hosts who very much make you feel welcome & at home! We will definitely be back! Thank you!

We had a great time celebrating our anniversary at the Oliver inn. The hosts were wonderful, room was excellent with all the comforts we needed. Great location, local history surrounding the area was an unexpected plus. Tom and Alice are very focused on providing a quality experience. Would recommend highly!

I found this BnB quite by accident, as the inn is conveniently located next door to the Studebaker mansion (now a wonderful restaurant and brewery). I enjoyed a perfect stay: the hosts were fabulous, the jacuzzi room was large and comfortable, the décor was endearing, breakfast was incredible (the hostess is also a private caterer), and everything was spotless. I would enthusiastically stay again when visiting South Bend.

As repeat visitors, we can honestly say that the Oliver Inn is THE place to stay when visiting South Bend, IN! Extremely comfortable accommodations, homemade snacks, a fabulous breakfast every morning and gracious hosts assure a memorable experience.

The hosts are competent, kind and very interested in their guest's comfort. The Inn is beautifully kept and filled with an ambience of quality. My wife and I have stayed at the Oliver Inn 3 times; it is becoming our home away from home.

You are made to feel as part of the family. The rooms are done in a very cozy and comfortable way. The location is perfect and grounds well kept. You won’t regret staying here. There are things to see and do within walking distance.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay with Alice & Tom. We stayed in the Knute Rock near suite, which is one of the king size beds. Lovely decorative touches, fluffy towels, homey atmosphere despite the fact that this is an historic estate. OH and breakfast!!! For a unique experience that is comfortable and close to everything, and NOT a cookie cutter hotel, this is the place.
