The hotel is in dire need of refurbishing. The room was clean, public areas not so much. Walls are paper thin, I think this used to be a Ramada and hasn't been update for years.

This place has horrible smell, creepy feels . Staff either don’t understand or just didn’t talk . Not very welcoming . Pool was absolutely disgusting. Place just needs overhaul for the price . Would be more like a motel 8 price range .

We've stayed at this hotel sporadically over the last few years, and have watched the slow decline of the appearance, service, safety and complimentary breakfast to the point of no longer wishing to stay here in the future. Service was uncaring and borderline rude. Safety on the hotel property was a concern due to some people panhandling at the front door and parking lot. Breakfast was terrible this last stay. I've had fresher food and cleaner areas in a Waffle House. Rooms are very dated and Maintenace was sub-par with water spraying all over the bathroom when turning on the shower. Very unfortunate that we will no longer be staying at this hotel again.

Room was ok. Check-in was two guys with very heavy accents, which made it difficult for us to understand them. Price was VERY high comparatively to the rest of the state. Breakfast presentation and content was very poor.

Recommend staying elsewhere. Tired/run down appearance, very expensive for what you are getting. Could barely sleep from crappy mattress.

My spouse and I rented a room at this hotel on 7/8/24, checking out on 7/9/24 and were placed in Room 110, which is on the first floor right next to the front desk and laundry area. The room itself was adequate and clean, however, at 2:30am while we were sleeping the staff decided to do laundry waking us both up! All I heard was the washing machines, water flowing, and dryers running at 2:30am!!!! I went to the desk at 3am to complain informing the agent who does laundry at 2:30am while guests are sleeping right next door!!!! The agent apologized and offered to place us in a different room, at 3am. Come on, we were only there for 1 night, I'm not going to move to another room at 3am when I am checking out at 8am to resume my trip. I travel to South Haven, MI frequently and will avoid this place next time. Warning to all, if you go here, DO NOT stay in the room next to the front desk and hotel laundry on the 1st floor.

Whirlpool was nice and hot in the evenings. Comfortable room and decent breakfast with a good location. Nice staff.

I have stayed at Wyndhams before. Usually the staff makes you feel welcomed and the breakfast has more options than this location.

Stay at your own risk! The room was very dated , disgusting and had a very strong offensive smell. Then we saw a cockroach in the bathroom. Was offered another room in the hotel. We said absolutely not and went across the street to the Hampton inn. It was a little more expensive but well worth it. Where there’s one cockroach there are thousands more. Hate to think of the poor people that ate breakfast there.

Noisey, rude, unclean, not worth the money. Little to no parking. Not appreciate of people patronizing their place of business. Outside was being painted, but that doesn’t change the attitude of the staff and or the looks of inside. Very disappointed, as this name brand is where I normally stay

A short drive to downtown South Haven and beautiful South Beach. However, our room looked worn with an outdated microwave, cheap mini-fridge with no way to control the temp, and a TV with limited channels. The breakfast was simple but adequate. Oddly, the charge on our credit card was for Days Inn, not Baymont by Wyndham.

As always a Pleasant Stay and prompt quick checkin checkout. The Breakfast was just right also a few more items would help but not nessassary. It is well stocked and gives options maybe a hookyp with a local Farmer to add to the experience..

Rooms smelled like old stinky carpet and bathrooms were old and needed updated. The hotel is in a great location which is most likely the only reason anyone would stay there. They seriously need to update this place. Explains why it's the cheapest place in town

It was a golf trip for myself and 4 friends we chose Baymont because it was close to the golf courses. One of my friends had to change his room because it smelled like smoke, my room wasn't as clean as I expect a room to be plus the toilet paper holder was broken and the toilet paper was on the back of the toilet. Head dogs barking at night.
