Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham South Hill

Overall my stay was pretty good. The room was mostly clean ( tile grout in bathroom was gross and there were some oily handprints on the doors) The bed was comfortable and clean. The room was perfect size for me. I had a queen studio room. Shower was clean and water pressure great. The reception, however, was abysmal! The front desk lady was rude and unhelpful. I booked thru ******* and didnt finsh the pre check in that Wyndham had sent me. So she kept telling me it wasnt her problem and i needed to take it up with *******. No ideas to help or the knowledge that i needed to finish my pre check in. Training issue? Idk but very rude. She did not greet me the first time i walked in or any time after when i walked by the desk. She was there both days and nvr acknowledged me, even when i handed my cards in! The breakfast was standard free fare but it was hot and fresh and the attendant was great.

Arrived late and left early. The room was smallish, compared to others I use — but it had everything I needed and was well laid out. Only suggestion I have … the bed covers were very lightweight, and an available extra blanket would have been welcome. (In fairness, there may have been one available upon request, but I was too tired to go ask). Overall, very good value for the $$$

The hotel is very nice. It's clean, quiet and staff is friendly. The breakfast was not the best. The coffee taste was weak.

Very clean. Quieter than I expected being close to the interstate. Very good breakfast.

My husband and I stay here every time we're driving from Georgia to New York and back. We don't bother to look anywhere else. This place meets all of our needs!

Quiet and cute space. Reading nook in the window. I'm OCD so I did clean the bathroom again. For breakfast there was a waffle maker, crispy bacon, egg patties, biscuits, corn beef hash,muffins, bagels, toast, cereal, yogurt, milk, juices and coffee. Nice indoor pool and gym. Will be back!

Myself and a few of my family members stayed at the Microtel in South Hill Virginia. Because it was my mom‘s home going the The rooms were very nice very well maintained. The staff was absolutely excellent very helpful, especially Tracey. The breakfast was very good. I will definitely stay there again.

The staff should work on being more friendly to guest. During check in there was no greeting or tour/mention of amenities. (Just are you checking in) hospitality, was at an all-time low in my opinion for check in and check out.
