We loved our meal, the friendly service and atmosphere of this lovely pub! We had the black pudding scotch egg, followed by a superb burger and the chicken supreme. Delicious! The cheese and sticky toffee pudding were great too! It was our first visit since the new landlord arrived some time ago and we will definitely be back! Thank you James and his team - fantastic all round!

Wow The Cherry Tree inn is wonderful great food , selection of wine and cocktails, amazing attention to detail staff who make you feel very welcome Amassive thank you to Gio and his team for making our company christmas meal so easy from first email requesting to book, sending menu's over and being so professional when i was adding late attendance to the list I can't recommend this place enough so lovely clean,great value,quiet with great atmosphere

Nice surroundings. Pleasant service. Very expensive for what it was. Small portion of fish pie £17 & needed veg to go with it (£6) The cheesecake was £12! Petit fours (3) were £6 tiny & no real flavour. I’d recommend giving them a miss. I considered the stuffed aubergine parmigiana but it was £24

We went for a late lunch on a Wednesday (many places are either not open or stopped serving). The pub has been refurbished and offers two dining areas and an informal central seat for eating or just drinks. The menu is small plates with a good selection of dishes and not just the usual spanish tapas. The food was lovely and portions generous. Although quite quiet the was a nice atmosphere.

My godson and his friend were rudely treated by the landlord/bar manager for simply wanting to sit inside with their drinks on a cold night. Quote "The good thing about running your own pub is that you can throw out who you want". Is that a professional way forward? The Cherry Tree has seen it's fair share of landlords come an go since I moved to Stoke Row in 2003. Pub restaurant businesses experience high failure rates, so a new venture can ill-afford to alienate customers within months of opening. I was contemplating taking my staff their for our Christmas lunch. We'll stick with the Crooked Billet.

Lovely pub, with friendly helpful staff. We were made to feel welcome even though they were full. The food was delicious. Thank you for fitting us in for lunch.

Had booked to go for lunch on New Year’s Day. Had to wait some time to be acknowledged on arrival as the bar was busy with customers and dogs. Poor service when ordering food. In the end, went and paid and left before ordering desert as there were not enough staff and we were not being served adequately.

Beautiful setting for a winter Sunday roast, a lovely little authentic cosy pub. The food was a very good portion and of excellent quality. Service was also good. Overall, this was a very good experience and would recommend to anyone in the area for a visit.

I cannot overstate how amazing our experience was at the Cherry Tree Inn. We went for a special family meal for 10 and from making the booking Natalie and her team were incredible. Louise was so attentive, anticipating everything we might need as the evening went on. She was so thoughtful and made the experience truly special. The food was brilliant, absolutely delicious and everyone enjoyed it. Thank you for making this family celebration so special and memorable. We can’t wait to come back again!

Food very good, however, poor customer service, poor communication, (wanted to order several different dishes and was only told when ordering they didn’t have said ingredients to make) One dish ordered and on delivery of starters to table was told was not available, Sadly the service at this pub used to be excellent, no more than 1 year ago, Now you have to run back and forth to the bar for everything, drinks, cutlery, napkins, seasoning, Perhaps the bosses weren’t working as a Tuesday night in the school holidays but, very disappointing, But come on cherry tree you can do so much better!

The Cherry Tree cancelled our very longstanding booking in a busy period causing us to spend double to get a room a similar distance from Henley. We had booked 11 months prior when a week before they contacted us to say they had a water dammage incident so we could not stay. Fair enough, things happen occasionally but our issue is that when we booked there were several other rooms available so we were not cancelled 'last in first out' nor was any attenpt made to find us a replacement. Nor was any contribution made to our increase in costs. We were unceremoniously dumped. I say not good enough. We have stayed there before but we will not return. Be warned.

We went for a celebration lunch. We were spoilt for choice as everything on the menu sounded delicious. We started with Padron peppers and whitebait to share and for the mains had Thai salad and longhorn beef burger. the desserts were to die for...delicious summer fruit pudding and waffles with fresh strawberries (picked that morning from their own garden), cream and ice cream. The friendly service was exemplary. We would highly recommend a visit - they advertise quiz nights and live music so other opportunities to experience this amazing venue.

The most delicious and memorable lunch in many years. Three courses of excellence, a delicious IGP Chardonnay all followed by fab coffees. Wonderful service from AM Laura and her team throughout. Simply outstanding...and inexpensive, what a pleasant surprise. Thank you

Stayed overnight so rooms and breakfast only. The rooms are clean and well thought out, super comfy bed and amazing, powerful shower. Breakfast TDF, really brilliant Full English, best bacon ever, plenty of fresh fruit, cereal, toast, orange juice and delicious coffee, perfect start to a busy Father's Day. Our hosts, Dan and Natalie, were really professional/talented, friendly, welcoming and helpful, as was the lovely Front of House Lady, Ayla (I hope spelling correct). Thank you so much we had a great time with you, pity it wasn't longer. See you soon. :-)
