Overall a great stay, this property, unbeknownst to many staying, was transitioning to Wellsworth Hotel and slight changes, or maybe because it is in transition, were noticed. A new system for checking in made it seem more complicated for staff (although they handled it graciously), key cards had an issue of not working on more than one occasion, difficult to find staff at times, but once found were very helpful. Some minor facility issues on the convention center side, but were taken care of. I hope Wellsworth Hotel upholds the great quality and standard that the Southbridge Convention Center always had.

This is on the fancier end of things for the main building. We were very disappointed that even in handicapped parking access, you had to walk a good 1/2 mile (or so it seemed) from the nearest parking lot. There were very few options to park in these big lots too. We only had 1 car per room and were slim pickings and in different lots. So just be aware, especially if traveling alone. The gentleman checking us in, didn't realize we had two rooms and so I had to go through the checking in process twice. The hold on my credit card for both rooms for the incidentals was held twice (so instead of $30 per room, it came up 4 times for the $30 on my card bill. Still waiting on that to clear). When I booked the room, I requested adjoining rooms if they were available. We were on two different floors so I assumed there were none available. However, my sister and her children were in a room with an adjoining one, of which the people were having a domestic dispute in and she had to call the front desk, which they did take care of at the time.

I attend an annual meeting here, and am very impressed with the hotels cleanliness. Staff are friendly, and the food is also quite good.

Our go to place for birthdays or special events (like New Years). We love the pool and hot tub, and Shades. Even when the restaurant is short staffed, the employees still have a smile and are friendly. The breakfast buffet is good too. Very very family friendly. My only complaint (and it's not even a complaint really) is that I wish they'd change the menu every once in a while. And we live local- so i wish there was a day pass for the pool!

The beds are very hard and they do not seem to give you back your deposit like other hotels. Which was also not mentioned in booking this hotel. It said breakfast was included when booking which it was clearly not and for the price of the room it should have been. Too expensive to purchase for the food that is offered and only wknds. The staff is rude, and will speak about you in their language. .also the water pressure is horrible. Its beautiful in some areas but not worth the money considering customer service is terrible and rooms are not very clean. Def not a 4 star since they don't clean often or enough when cleaned. 2 star is where this should be. Scuffs on walls wall paper loose and lots of dirt all through the hotel on the floors like they dont own a vacuum. Pool is big and has a heated floor in the entry way. This place would probably be better for just parties and leave.

Very beautiful and nice things to do my kids played in the pool and played basketball as day. Definetly worth the stay!!
