海洋門度假酒店(Ocean Gate Resort)

Not quite the picture i saw when i booked it but it was a nice stay. Rustic. Friendly and helpful staff. The property is going through a remodel over the winter so I am looking forward to the updates.

We paid extra for an ocean front room. Our view was very different from the pictures- it was mostly blocked by trees so our balcony was not worth using. Views from other parts of the property were much better. We were given a handicap accessible room so our bathroom was huge and room was much smaller. Overall just not a great experience. Office smelled like cigarettes.

Comfy bed with comfy pillows. 😴 the view was nice and the amenities were great! We loved breakfast and only wished there was a restaurant or bar as well.

what a find. we stayed in waterfront room with a balcony overlooking the bay. watched the lobster boats going in and out, very soothing. The resort even had kayaks and canoes available for use! Well kept and comfortable. only a few minute drive to boothbay harbor. Great place to start our Maine vacation

The resort is quiet and cozy. Definitely bring some food as they only serve breakfast. I like how they have a microwave anyone can use on their pavilion. They also have grills you can use which I really liked. I do wish that they had another grill closer to the pavilion though. If they put one right next to the pavilion it would of been alot more convenient then grilling then walking to the pavilion to eat. Otherwise very happy with the place and I would definitely come back their again

The location is great. The staff is wonderful, but the buildings and grounds could use some updating. The breakfast area was in need of updating, and the breakfast itself was on the low side (Limited food and not the best presentation) I thought it would be much different given they name of the resort, and the overall feel of the place

Rooms were not especially clean and a bit run down. No maid service whatsoever. Hot tub was “broken for the season”. Huh? You have an entire season and don’t bother to fix it? Price was reasonable though

We really enjoyed the pool and the free continental breakfast was delicious. The grounds were beautifully maintained. Lots of activities and everything you need is right there on the property. It was so nice to be able to borrow the bikes, kayaks, canoe. Great spot to take your family!

The property is secluded in the woods on the ocean. Water views from the room are fantastic. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. Pool is beautiful. Kayaking and other sports included. Absolutely loved this resort.
