Parking space in front of accommodation in middle of town centre so ideal walking to shops/bars/restaurants. Friendly welcome from host Tony who showed us spacious lounge with TV to relax in if not in bedroom, separate breakfast room then said if require anything don't hesitate to ask with a bell button and contact numbers if need be. Bedroom large, comfortable bed en suite with nice little touches provided. Exceptionally clean, classic style decor and one of the best we've stayed in. Cooked breakfast was an option as extra, we already had plans so didn't take up this time. Highly recommended, we have already booked a return trip to stay.

Really impressed with the ambassador, the host Tony goes out of his way to make your stay the best you can hope for.The hotel is clean,the breakfast is really nice,although the bedroom I stayed in was small but really very comfortable, parking is managed by Tony who has a number of parking permits,the ambassador is in a great position, I would certainly recommend this hotel

We had a lovely stay at the ambassador Tony the host was very friendly and couldn't do enough for you, The breakfast was delicious and rooms were cosy and comfortable we had a brilliant stay and we will return 😊

Had a great stay! Tony is a great host and did everything he could to make sure we had anything we needed. Rooms lovely an spacious , decor is lovely throughout , only negatives where it’s a noisy area at night with the bars being so close by, the bathroom light is automatic so not ideal for going to the bathroom in the night and having the light blaring on,and one of the rooms didn’t have a working fridge. Apart from that it was a really nice place to stay, we loved the fully black out blinds an curtains, tea/coffee facilities in the room, hair dryer,playing cards in room, downstairs lounge very nice an comfortable and parking available on the drive. Would definitely recommend!

We spent two nights here and are pleased that we did. Tony is a friendly and helpful host and made us very welcome. The room was very clean, comfortable and in good decorative order. The breakfast was good. Parking is no problem because if there is no room on the foecourt then Tony can provide a permit for onstreet parking. The location is excellent being very close to both Lord Street and the water front. We would stay there again if returning to Souhport.

tony the owner was very helpful and could not do enough for us.good cooked breakfast plenty of choice. bedroom very clean everything you needed ,good location would highly recommend .we will visit again

Read the reviews online and decided to book. What an amazing guest house . My room was superb, everything you needed and more . The owner, Tony could not have been more accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble . He showed me round some of the other rooms, each one decorated and furnished to the highest of standards . The breakfast was fabulous too. Cannot recommend highly enough . Would I book again, without a shadow of a doubt !

Lovely place, with a very friendly host. Our room was clean, quiet and perfect. We had a fridge and gorgeous fluffy towels. The hotel is immaculate and there is free parking. We would highly recommend and if visiting southport would stay here again.

Perfection location for everything. A few mins from train station, pier, theatre, shops, bars and restaurants. Tony was a very attentive host. Bedroom spotlessly clean and a lounge area, for takeaways with plates,crockery and glasses.
