This is a luxury place full of great location - a walkers paradise . I came here with my family and stayed for 2 days in a rustic cottage with kitchen. 2 bedroom with baths and a great living plus a dining room overlooking the garden and an old well spread on 3 stories is a joy . The location itself is too memorable - within the village road across from city council meeting hall . The beauty of the place is matchless . The dining area and garden are very very inviting . Food is fresh good - rates high but worth it . Cottage rarriff is high and not breakfast included rates . However the complimentary basket of milk , bread , butter and seasonal fruits was a great beginning . We plan to return again . Walking around the near by 2 villages gave us a delightful experience of visiting the village churches . The history and the era of heritage old houses added to the beauty of this place . The great pastures , horse stables and the hen in the coop with the goats and sheep are village glimpses and will keep enthralled you . There is a charming a lovely place to eat - Victoria Inn in the nearby village which is not to be missed . A very memorable stay here . Check in time is 4 pm and checkout is 11 am . Highly recommended .

Thyme has its grounds and its buildings to recommend. The rest is about charging a lot of money and not worth-it to deliver, same as their merchandize. Rooms are okay, but my mattress was lumpy and not comfortable. No room temp control, at night temp rose to 78-80 F inside the room and staff didn’t help. Food is okay but I had better food in a nearby pub with less money. Oxbarn, building itself and gardens and conservation area is great… and that is where I will give them credit. The rest… I will not return.
