博奇宮酒店(Hotel Palazzo Bocci)

Una struttura nel cuore di Spello che è rimasta ferma agli anni 70. Camere arredate con mobili di quell'epoca e per di piu rovinati. Il letto di una scomodità come pochi. Non parliamo poi del bagno che meriterebbe una ristrutturazione da cima a fondo. La cosa che sicuramente pesa di piu è il fatto di aver trovato un wc palesemente vecchio in quanto si vedevano chiamaramente due strisce color arancio che scendevano in verticale, segno questo di un bagno inutilizzato e non pulito frequentemente. La pulizia lasciava molto a desiderare in quanto era presente polvere. In una location cosi bella come Spello è davvero una delusione trovare una struttura in queste condizioni perché con un ammodernamento sostanziale potrebbe diventare uno dei fiori all'occhiello del paese.

L’hotel è in posizione ottima per visitare Spello e vivere il borgo nella sua centralità. Accoglienza dello staff gentile e disponibile, ticket per parcheggio difronte alla struttura. La struttura è un palazzo storico con giardino e ambienti comuni affrescati. Camera pulita

Our initial intention for staying here was just as a stopover during our travels through Italy. We most certainly underestimated the beauty and charm of Spello, and of this hotel as well. Our overall experience at Hotel Palazzo Bocci was very good, and it started with the first impressions and helpfulness of the gentleman who checked us in. Felt welcome right away. Located in the heart of Spello, this hotel exhibits plenty of old world charm with several beautiful and comfortable sitting rooms, old fashioned keys, and rooms with character! Candidly, the rooms may lack a sense of “polish” and modernity to some; but we found our rooms to be absolutely charming and comfortable while still being a bit “rough around the edges.” We found the housekeeping to be very good and overall condition of the property to be good. Our room had a small sitting area as you walked in, with two steps leading up to the bathroom and bedroom. A patio was off the sitting area with stunning west views of the surrounding region! Candidly, the patio (with its chairs) could have been cleaned up a bit more to remove the moss and vegetative growth. Our bedroom had a small window which faced the street and church across the street. The bed mattress was surprisingly comfortable; overall room size and comfort were satisfactory. The building has s small elevator. The complimentary breakfast “spread” was amazing! Best of our 12 days in Italy! The assortment of breads, pastries, meats, cheeses, fruit, etc were outstanding. Coffee (served individually in your own coffee pot) by the waitress was excellent. This hotel is a “gem” that could use a bit of “polish,” but we would most certainly stay here again, and suggest other adventurous travelers to give consideration to stay here. This is a central “base” to explore the wonderful town of Spello. (Special thanks to our host for getting us a “last minute” dinner reservation at a nearby restaurant. Also, for those arriving by car, free parking is located a few meters away in an open air lot)

There are awards from 20 years ago hanging around, I guess this is when the hotel got its four stars. Since then the building got pretty shabby, especially the bathrooms. The breakfast is the only thing that matches the stars claim, I’d say. We received no “parking instructions” message like other Italian hotels send couple of days in advance, and it’s badly needed! On the positive side - good location, comfortable beds, air conditioning.

Fabulous location in the center of town. Free parking across the street. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and comfortable room. Great breakfast.

L’hotel è decisamente da ristrutturare e per nulla in linea con le stelle. Camere con arredamento decisamente da restaurare, ragnatele, assenza del topper sul materasso, nessun cuscino aggiuntivo. L’aspetto più grave risiede proprio nel bagno. Per quanto possa essere “vecchio” c’era la parte sottostante la tavoletta del water completamente rotta, macchi di incrostazioni e muffa dappertutto; phon degli anni 80 nemmeno funzionanate. Appena sono entrato in bagno ho dato la mandata senza sapere che la serratura fosse rotta; sono rimasto chiuso e se non avessi avuto il cellulare con me sarei rimasti lì fino al mattino successivo. Allego foto. È un peccato perchè la posizione è ottima. Vorrei aggiungere che appena entrati in bagno abbiamo notato subito gli stracci della polvere nella doccia dimenticati lì. Pro: - colazione discreta - personale colazione molto gentile Contro - vecchio - sporco - stelle inadeguate (è un 2 stelle travestito da 4) - phon rotto - ragnatele

Un due stelle travestito da quattro. Spiace perché gli affreschi e il palazzo sono bellissimi, la camera molto grande e spaziosa. Questi elementi uniti alla posizione renderebbero il soggiorno meraviglioso ma i bagni sono da ristrutturare (una vasca idromassaggio e phon degli anni 80) con muffa e ruggine. Tv e frigobar spenti, come il riscaldamento centralizzato. Personale molto gentile con colazione molto buona e varia.

Hotel dai sapori antichi, si respira un aria da favola. Stanze grandissime e spaziose, con vista direttamente sul centro di Spello. L’unica pecca il parcheggio, arrivate non c’era nessun posto disponibile, ma con pochi euro siamo riuscite a trovare in un parcheggio a pagamento poco più avanti.

Ho soggiornato tre notti in questo hotel, camere ampie e ben arredate, letto comodo e bagno grande. Colazione ricca e di ottima qualità, personale alla reception gentilissimo e disponibile. Ottima scelta lo consiglio
