斯普林菲爾德萬楓酒店(Freedom Inn)

I love this hotel. Yes the pool and breakfast is not a option, they remodeling the whole building. That’s also why it’s so cheap!

Staff is welcoming and friendly. No breakfast or pool but facility is under remodel.

Britany at front desk was very nice and professional and she explained the breakfast and why the pool was closed for maintenance again. Rooms are very clean and pleasant but the casual pot smell in the hallway. Going to be a great place to stay!

I checked in about 10:30 and the desk clerk was updstairs cleaning. He left a number to call and he was there very quickly. Very nice young man and check in was very easy.

Decent hotel. Nothing overly fancy but for the price it was spot on. Clean and nice staff. However bring a sleep mask. The grounds lighting is shining into the 1st floor Executive Suite. Also the thermostat is a lie. It is NOT controlled at the wall. I tried to turn down the temp and after an hour it was 84 degrees. I turned the wall unit off and now the window AC is working to cool things off. Yikes. The staff, the location etc though are fine. Walking distance to a great Mexican restaurant and Target. Just bring a sleep mask to block out the light.

For low price you get what you pay for. Limited breakfast with no hot eggs or meat.

We didn't like anything! The whole place was under construction, windows covered in plastic. The room smelled of cigarettes. We ended up leaving and so far they have refused to refund us.

room was dirty had to get another room, room just wasn't fresh. went for breakfast and didnt start until 6:30 and no one around. so we left

We arrived at 3:55 pm and there were about 30 people in the dirty, small lobby waiting for the two desk people (who were doing nothing) to wait until after 4 pm to check anyone into the hotel. Then there was a huge line and the A/C was not cooling the place well. The IL State Fair is going on, so there are very few rooms available. Luckily I was able to find a hotel room a mile down the road at Springhill Suites and spent an additional $355 to stay there for the night instead.
