Extremely comfortable beds

I stay at this hotel often and the last night I stayed there, there was an issue with a drunk person who was causing a ruckus in the parking lot. The check in person was quite concerned for our safety and escorted us outside to our vehicle without incident. We did decide to try Denny's for a quick supper however the food was not appealing. The french fries had a fishy taste which made me believe they are using the same cooking oil for all their fried foods. I have eaten at Moxie's previously and recommend. However, Denny's was disappointing and I wouldn't eat there again.

Our room was very dirty. There was stuff all over the walls in the room and bathroom. The tiles in the shower were yellow. The coffee table was filthy, our lamp was broken. There was gum stuck over our headboard which I took photos of. No cups to drink from. Beds only had 3 pillows each. Normally every other hotel is 4. The tv wasn’t Netflix compatible. First time stay and most defiantly my last. Would never recommend this hotel for anyone to stay.

This was our second time staying at this property. It is very clean, staff were knowledgeable and pleasant,can walk to shopping,dining,etc. Love that there is a Denny’s and Moxie’s attached,find this very convenient. Will definitely stay again when we are back in the St. John’s area!!

In order to go to restaurant from inside the property, there were only stairs for the bottom level. There was a staff only elevator. For prople like me, with a mobility issue, getting to the restaurant from inside the hotel was challenging. There was a snow storm during my visit. Getting dressed and going outside to go into the restaurant was not acceptable

The fire alarm went off at about 2am every one had to evacuate. Was out side for about an hour or so. It was a false alarm. The alarm went off again around 8:30 am. The restaurant had no heat. Very cold having dinner. This may have been the worst experience I’ve had with hotels.

I was thirsty when I arrived and I was hoping to drink the complementary water, but there was not complementary water! Anyways the bed was very comfortable and clean, the bathroom clean as well including the towels. The hair dryer was gross with a lot of dust on the back so it barely work because the air couldn’t get through. Hair drier needs to be updated.

Room was very comfortable and nicely decorated. Great amenities. Had dinner at Moxie’s and breakfast at Denny’s. It was super convenient with the hotel access and the food at both places was delicious.
