Love this chain never disappoints

This hotel has no parking! The structure is 3 blocks away and was not even recommended to us in check in. Walls are thin- on Saturday night was awoken by a loud argument in the hallway. Halls are painted dark color and felt ominous. Would not recommend this hotel unless it’s all your budget allows.

I booked Aloft mainly due to my teenage daughter's interest in the design and trendiness. It is a very unique hotel, with details that appeal to the younger generation. Overall, I was happy with our stay. We were able to find street parking, which is free on the weekends, however, the designated parking garage is a little bit of a walk, if that is your only option. We didn't arrive until 10 pm, and were set to check out the next day, so we didn't take advantage of the amenities, but the pool area looked nice, and there were plenty of places to gather inside and out. This place is definitely a good option if your interested in the Forest Park area, and don't mind a short drive to downtown.

Pros: --Cleanliness --Poll and gym amenities --Arty feel to lobby and rooms Cons: --Cost --Understaffed and disinterested staff. The pitch to customers is that you'll feel independent and undisturbed. The reason is likely to reduce labor costs, and the result is a lack of service by the few almost certainly underpaid workers there.

Pros -convenient to highway and tourist attractions -quiet -room was clean Cons -dark hallways -common areas show lots of wear for a newer establishment -staff was not the friendliest nor quick to respond to requests, a guest was complaining that his room was double booked with a stranger walking in on him -door to room across from ours looked as if it had been broken into or tampered with

Pros: super friendly staff, very close to the metro train, clean and great shower Cons: zero soundproofing to the extent where a person simply walking around their room above sounds like they are going to come thru the ceiling. The sconce on the wall sounded like it would fall off shaking from the vibration of simple walking. Unreal. Definitely needs carpeting and soundproofing added. Also, expensive parking for a not populated area and for being a good ways off site

This is the second time that we stayed at this property and I forgot completely how difficult it is to check-in if you have a car. There is no place to park your car while checking in. There is supposed to be a spot by the front door where you can park and take in your luggage but that is an illusion. When he pulled up, either an UBER drive was there waiting for a client or a van was parked in that area. We had to park in front of a handicapped space in order to get our luggage out of the car. Whoever designed the layout of this hotel entry did a very poor job.

This hotel does not actually have on-site parking as listed. It is roughly a 5 minute walk. Also charging $25 when the parking garage lists a daily maximum of $24 to park. All of the staff I interacted with was fabulous however!

We had such a wonderful stay. Our kids didn't ask to go back to the hotel, they asked to go home. That is how much we liked it there. Everyone was super friendly, genuine and kind. If I had to list a negative I would say the yellow seating by the table could be shampooed. But really it was the perfect hotel. We loved our stay and will defiantly be back!
