來自住宿之回應: Dear Annabelle, Christer and I were so sorry to learn of your experience on entering your room. While self check in was arranged for your later arrival around 6pm, we did ask that you contact us any time if you had any queries or concerns on check in. We are only 2 minutes away so certainly would have attended to see you immediately if you had alerted us to your concerns. It’s disappointing also that you did not mention anything when you rang in the evening and placed your breakfast order, or in the morning while we were having breakfast. An attendance and/or discussion may have been able to go some way for us to make your stay more enjoyable. We note you stayed with us on 23/4, yet your review was posted one month later on 22/5. Annabelle, we’ve had no other guests mention a damp and/or musty smell in either the room you stayed in or in any other, either prior to or following your own stay. We pride ourselves on our cleanliness and routinely open all windows throughout the property daily during the 4 hour cleaning process, for fresh air and ventilation. Your room in particular has two lovely windows and receives all the morning sun; the perfect room (if you so desire) to be a distance from the front entrance of the house. We certainly take your complaint seriously and have taken steps over our winter closure to deconstruct and renew all rooms. With regard to the amenities in the rooms, particularly the tea bags, it seems you had only spotted the half a dozen mixed individually wrapped specialty tea bags in the top drawer. There’s also a large jar there with around 30 English Breakfast tea bags, along with sugar and instant coffee (if the pod machine is not your preference). We are happy to know you enjoyed your Tasmanian holiday otherwise. Best wishes, Rhonda

Yes, we do love to cook, and cook up storm for breakfast each morning with a little prompting from the guests who choose to sit at the breakfast bench and watch the performance.
