林登斯坦斯特德酒店(The Linden Stansted)

This is a charming hotel with wonderful staff who were helpful, personable and delightful. Our room was a nice size with a large bathroom. Super comfortable beds and lovely linens. We loved this hotel with the great bar area and a quaint dining room. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Extremely comfortable rooms with everything you need! Staff are brilliant, always helpful and friendly! Food is excellent! Definitely recommend staying here! Very characterful old building but we’ll maintained! No on site car parking but public car park 100 yards away!

Decided to stay local before an early flight the next day. Nice welcome when we turned up, drop your bags at the door and park across the road in public car park, safe with cameras. Great service continued through the evening and enjoyed our evening meal. Rooms clean and comfortable with a restful start for the next day.

We had a lovely evening staying at the Linden, a beautiful room with the comfiest bed. The dinner menu and service was fab and the breakfast included was beautiful. We had the most wonderful stay & will be returning!

Really enjoyed our roast dinner, but the desert, while enjoyable, was far too small, barely a couple of spoonfuls very disappointing, left needing more. Staff were friendly and attentive, we’d go again but skip dessert and walk to tesco to buy our own

We got tired of staying at cookie cutter airport hotels, so we tried a change of pace. This is a historical inn that fit the bill for us. We had a lovely room with a 4 poster bed and a cooked to order breakfast in their cozy dining room. We saw the nearby castle and met some nice residents. We thoroughly enjoyed our step back in time.

A nice place on the edge of town and on a main road. Room very comfortable and roomy with a huge bed. Had to switch around a couple of light bulbs which had clearly blown, and there was no milk, but that's being picky. A fridge and some drawer space would probably be useful for a longer-term stay. Parking is off-site, and it costs (not a lot) for anytime outside the 1700-0800 window; as such, mildly inconvenient. Restaurant in the hotel is excellent and well worth using rather than going out.

Stayed here when flying out of Stansted the next day. The room is enormous and has the most glorious bath tub and a king sized bed. Some road traffic noise, but not too bad. Blackout curtains. Delicious breakfast made to order and included. Enjoyed my stay. Everyone was friendly and accommodating, providing me toothpaste and a charger adapter for my US phone cord.
