My place is located in Tonsupa, a town of the province of Esmeraldas. It is located in one of the principal beach regions in the country. You will be delighted with wonderful sunsets, private beach access, seafood and a peaceful atmosphere.It is ideal for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with 1-2 young kid). Our price per night includes 2 guest, every additional guest will be charged $10 per night. Pets are not allowed in the resort, unless emotional support pets.The spaceOur Suite is located right in front of the ocean, pretty hard to beat. The buildings are fairly new and very wee maintained. The maintenance team does a fantastic job taking care of the pools, and keeping the common areas in prestige conditions.Our suite has being used for our family as a vacation spot since it was build, lately we decided to give others the chance to experienced this fantastic and relaxing spot. So far, it has being a great decision.Guest accessFrom Quito International Airport take a flight to Esmeraldas (40 minutes). From General Rivadeneiras airport in Esmeraldas, take a taxi to Tonsupa (35-40 minutes) Before the main entrance to Tonsupa ask the driver to turn right into exit to “Playa Almendro” once you get out of the highway follow the map attached in our pics. Esmeraldas airport is located about 20 miles away from the resort. Taxi should cost between 25-30USD.From Quito Mariscal Sucre Airport take the flight to Esperaldas, it takes approximately 40 minutes. Once at Esmeraldas Airport, take a taxi to Tonsupa, which will cost between 25-30USDS and take between 35-40 minutes. Enjoy the trip, it is very picturesque and you see a lot of vegetation. Ask your driver to take the exit towards “Playa Almendro”. Once off the road, indicate the map attached in our photos and you will arrive without problem.Other things to noteResort Playa Azul is located on the beach in Tonsupa, about 20 miles south of the port city of Esmeralda and 5 miles north of Atacames. Tonsupa is 3 miles long and consists of several ocean side apartments (they refer as Departamentos), condominiums, hotels and resorts. No malls, several local restaurants, but no international chains, multiple food vendors along the beach, be careful as most could not be 100% sanitary.As you enter town, you'll see Blue signs giving directions where to go. Follow the directions in our map and you get to your destiny with no problem.Resort Playa Azul is located on Tonsupa beach, about 20 kilometers south of the port town of Esmeralda. It's 5 miles north of Atacames. Tonsupa is 3 miles long and consists of several ocean side apartments, condominiums, hotels and resorts. There's no shopping centers, there's several local restaurants, but there's no international chains, multiple food vendors along the beach, be careful, since most couldn't be 100% sanitary.Upon entering the city, you will see blue signs indicating where to go.
