Sent my food back twice - cold - very average at best. Room tired and 80’s. Needs a complete refurb!!! The overall feel is of a faded place and it smells of ‘ off spa’ . Night one of three so lets see. I reckon its time for a once in20 year makeover. Quicker the better.

The hotel service is very good, everyone is very friendly. The hotel is very clean, with good heating and beautiful common areas. Excellent location, central and with a good view. You can reach all tourist areas easily. I highly recommend the breakfasts in the morning, they are very good and varied.

My stay was replete with issues. The volume of my TV did not work. The electric outlets in my room did not work. When the housekeepers cleaned the room each day, they never left towels. So I had to call reception two days in a row to request them, the phone ringing off the hook because the reception staff don’t pick up if they are talking to a guest in front of them. Reception needs more staffing. Some of the employees ant reception were rude and argued with me about certain things. Unacceptable— need better customer service training. Only staff member who was remotely professional was Jose Alfredo who helped me change rooms. I would never stay here again.
