阿萬德羅德賓館(Avondrood Guest House by the Oyster Collection)

Luxe en stijlvolle kamer, centraal gelegen net achter de hoofdstraat van Franschhoek. Wijntram op paar minuten wandelen. Prima verzorgd ontbijt en bovenal toppersoneel. Manager Justin en zijn staf zorgen voor een warm welkom. Een aanrader!

Wir waren schon vor 8 Jahren einmal im Avondrood und waren schon damals sehr zufrieden. Wir hatten dieses mal die Gartensuite mit eigenem Garten, Liegen und schönem Sitzbereich. Die Zimmer sind alle geschmackvoll im alten englischen Landhausstil gehalten, nichts was ich zuhause möchte - aber im Urlaub mal sehr schön. Das Frühstück ist für südafrikanische Verhältnisse sehr gut mit einer großen Auswahl an Früchten, Käse, Wurst, natürlich Eierspeisen usw. Leider befindet es sich nicht mehr im Privatbesitz von Justin und seiner Frau. Es gehört nunmehr zur Oyster Group. Wir haben seinen persönlichen Service doch schon vermisst, würden aber jederzeit wieder kommen.

Le séjour a été très agréable. Tout était vraiment parfait pour passer un bon moment en famille . L Emplacement, la chambre, le petit déjeuner et le personnel . Nous pouvons que recommander cet hôtel.

Such a wonderful place. The whole Place was first class ! Superb staff - Jamie Lee and Juvele were such attentive hosts and nothing was too much trouble. The service was personalised to our every need- from Restaurant booking, tour recommendations and shopping. We loved every minute of our stay here and would definitely return.

We loved our stay here. Located right in town, within walking distance to everything, with a serene courtyard and the most welcoming and gracious staff. The staff went above and beyond on all requests and helped arrange meals and sightseeing and allowed a late check out and had a driver take us around wine country. Big shout out to Karloff and Juan for making our vacation special.

From the moment we were greeted at the door by Juvile with a warm welcome and smile, we knew this was going to be a wonderful home from home experience and it was. Nothing is too much trouble, immediately we felt in good hands. Karloff greeted us with a complimentary drink as he explained the history of the area enthusiastically and answered any questions or queries we might have. We can’t recommend this beautiful guest house enough; lovely comfortable rooms and setting, staff who go above and beyond, genuinely loving their work assisting you in any way whilst taking pleasure from your own happiness. A magic place filled with proud genuine people, no wonder the guests keep returning!

Excellent Hotel, Excellent People, Particularly Justin who will look after you and make sure that you are cared for. Beautiful part of South Africa and near to restaurants and access to the vineyards. What a place! Enjoy with friends, family or as a couple.

We are return customers to Avondrood and we love it every time. Justin and his team are amazing, always going the extra mile to make our stay incredible with recommendations for great places to visit in the area. The guest house is cozy and we enjoyed drinks around the fireplace while we listened to the rain. The breakfast is delicious and the beautiful homely feel of the farmhouse kitchen makes you feel right at home. We will be back.

Wow wow wow definitely worthy of a 5 star, the staff are fabulous, can’t remember all of their names, but Michaela and Juvile are the two that i remember, nothing was too much trouble. They went above and beyond to make our stay a memorable one, Juvile even went to the chemist to get us some medication as we were out on a tour and needed some meds for when we got back. Every detail in the room and gardens has been thought of, they even do an honesty bar, where you help yourself to a drink in the evening and just note what you’ve had on a piece of paper in reception. We will definitely return as it’s one of our best stays whilst we’ve been on holiday in South Africa. Thank you once again for a fantastic stay 😁😁😁
