Great service, easy check in and departure. The staff were incredibly helpful and polite. Lovely comfortable rooms. Loved the roof top lounge area where we got to watch the ***** eclipse.

Hotelpersonal, insbesondere Abby und der Nachtwächter (funnier Sammy) sehr herzlich und entgegenkommend. Wir hatten leider das Zimmer zur Straße raus so dass es Tags und Nacht sehr laut mit geöffneten Fenstern war. Der Fahrstuhl war aber der knaller, ist eine Erfahrung wert. Nicht gefallen · Das Zimmer roch stark nach Reinigungsmitteln und unser Duschabfluss roch sehr streng. Geschirr und Bett hätten hygienischer gestaltet werden müssen. Die Dachterrasse wurde leider von Tauben besiedelt, so dass das aufhalten mit schöner Aussicht nicht so angenehm war. Das Frühstück war eher sehr lieblos und sehr einfach. Empfehlung: ohne Frühstück buchen und woanders gut frühstücken

Nos hospedamos durante quatro noites nesse hotel, todos os funcionários foram super atenciosos com a gente, mas só tem garagem para três carros, o café da manhã é bastante fraco! O ponto forte é a localização: bem próximo do centro e o preço super justo!

We spent three nights 21st to 24th November here. We would have no problem recommending this hotel. Location was perfect as it was a stroll across the road to the town centre with excellent restaurants and bars. Rooms were excellent and with a street view, no issues with traffic noise. Cleanliness of rooms second to none. Nolene on reception, so pleasant who could not do enough for us. As for Sammy, if there was a Night Porter of the year award Sammy would win it hands down every year. His enthusiasm was infectious. We had the pleasure of meeting Craig the new owner of the establishment who was a very engaging guy.

I filled in a complaint form on check-out: The bathroom needs attention. It is very shabby. Toilet mounted on wall skew, flush-plate loose and gap between it and tiles, mirror old and damaged, draw under basin has water damage, and most distressing is the really bad drain small that kept us awake and feeling sick. The noisy extractor fan outside the room was no help. And the rooftop courtyard is shabby and neglected.

The rooms need some attention like curtains and bed base skirt to be dry cleaned. The linen needs an upgrade. The relaxation room would benefit from a proper decorator.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The rooms were luxuriously comfortable. Parking is not great, as they only have parking for 4 cars, for 10 rooms. I was lucky enough to get secure parking, again thanks to the friendly staff!

Great Location, we able to walk everywhere, extremely comfortable rooms and always exceptionally clean. Service is 5 star!! We don't stay anywhere else when in Stellies.

Not recommended. - the room stank from chemical “fresheners” and also had a musty/moldy smell - no door to the bathroom area (even as a couple I’d rather not shower on full display), the toilet was behind little barn doors and the sink is in the bedroom - the heater didn’t work much of the time and it is chilly in June - the wifi connection is poor - the parking is ridiculously small and people are allowed to double park (could easily be trapped) - the elevator is something else (never had something like this before)

Comfortable 2 night stay. Small but well kitted out rooms. Friendly staff on reception and night porter was lovely. Perfect to explore Stellenbosch due to central location. Good breakfast. Very clean rooms and modern bathroom. Would recommend!!

I was not satisfied here. There were hairs everywhere in the room. The room was dirty. The shower had probably not been cleaned for a long time, because there was yellow mold in the joints at the bottom between the tiles and the plastic at the bottom of the door was loose. There were also holes in the towels. In the morning, breakfast was served in a sushi restaurant. Here too, it was dirty. The extractor hood had probably not been cleaned properly for months. In the elevator, they "tried" to repair the floor with duck tape. There were also dead insects (cockroach) in the hallway. No, that hotel is not recommended. It urgently needs to be renovated.

This isn’t a luxury hotel as it is slightly quirky with an extremely tight parking area. The room was clean and comfortable. Ours faced the road, but noise was not a problem. The breakfast was served in the “Sushi” restaurant and was nice. What made this 4 night stay so pleasant along with the proximity to Stellenbosch, was the lovely staff here. They did everything in their power to make our stay comfortable.

We booked a weekend away from the city and could not have chosen a better place. Easy and very central, the hotel is perfectly situated if you want to rather focus on walking around the centre of this lovely town. The room was spacious, the staff was friendly, breakfast was very tasty and the location is once again - ideal if you want to park and walk around
