小普萊西爾大酒店(Petit & Grande Plaisir Luxury Self-Catering)

We spent two days in this lovely house in Franschhoek. Marlicia is a wonderful host. The house is very comfortable with a beautiful garden and swimming pool. The house is also very well equipped for cooking and relaxing. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer. Highly recommended.

Marlicia is a caring and wonderful hostess who goes out of her way to make the stay one to remember. She even provided flowers for my wife's birthday and she makes the most delicious cumquat jam. We shall definitely return for another stay at Grande Plaisir. The property is equipped to the smallest requirement for a perfect stay.

We stayed at Small Wonder for the second time. The house is next to Grande Plaisir and is also hosted by Marlicia. We arrived one day after the severe flooding in Franschhoek and were without water and electricity for around 2 days. Marlicia helped and supported us in every possible way and made our days in Franschhoek perfect. Many thanks for everything, Marlicia. We shall definitely come back.

We enjoyed our stay at Grand Plaisir in Franschhoek. The location is very convenient, only about a 5 minute drive away to the main street. Marlicia gave clear instructions for the check in and we appreciated the gesture of the wine bottle and all the yummy snacks in the kitchen. Definitely recommend this place.

We had a two day stay during a few sunny days in winter. The accommodation is situated in a quiet part of town, but only a few blocks from the main street. Secure, off street parking is provided. The host is genial and helpful and live next door, The accommodation is beautifully appointed and very homely. Everythng is spotlessly clean. The kitchen is the best equiped we have ever gad in self catering accommodation. The interior decoration is very nice and linen and towels of high quality. We had a lovely stay and we felt safe while we were there. The kindness and interest of the host is appreciated. A number of food and drink items were generously provided. Sherry, fruit, coffee, tee, fresh milk etc. Also salt, pepper and some herbs for cooking and dish washing liquid. So many establishments do not provide this. We did not use the pool or outdoor braai, but loved the indoor stove for heating. We prepared simple meals which we enjoyed in front of the fire in our slippers. And the complimentary bottle of wine was enjoyed.

A beautiful property. Highly recommended. Beautifully maintained grounds. Convenient 24 hour backup during loadshedding.

We had three couples in our group so we selected the Grande Plaisir, which was a great choice. The accommodations were wonderful, as was our hostess, Marlicia. She was very attentive and helpful. Her rusk is delicious BTW. The main street is a short 10 minute walk. We only wish we had more time to spend there. We all hope to return one day.

Our family of 6 stayed in Grand Plaisir for a couple of nights and it was wonderful. Marlicia was an excellent hostess - always close at hand ready to help and answer any questions. The cottage was perfect for our family and was very well appointed and clean. Felt very safe and the kids also enjoyed the pool in the courtyard. There was 24 hour electricity backup so loadshedding was never an issue. Would definitely recommend Marlicia’s place and would love to stay here again in the future. It’s a very short walk into Franschhoek which has lovely shops and restaurants. Beautiful country!

Absolutely first class in every respect. Fabulous clean accommodation, hosts who really care and do their upmost to ensure everything is perfect and fabulous views in a peaceful location. Everything you would ever need is provided and we would have loved to stay longer. It’s like going home!
