阿薩拉紅酒莊園酒店(Asara Wine Estate & Hotel)

My husband and I had a stunning time at Asara. From the tranquil setting in the vineyards, the delicious food, fantastic wines to very friendly staff, everything was just perfect! The views are absolutely breathtaking. The pool is very well maintained and I had a very relaxing massage in the treatment room. It' the perfect spot, as it's just a quick drive to viby Stellenbosch town and other wine estates. Absolute value for money, we do highly recommend Asara and can't wait to be back.

Der Besuch bei Asara war ein absolut Erlebnis, das wir nicht vergessen werden. Die Kombination aus atemberaubender Anlage und exquisiten Weinen machte unseren Aufenthalt unvergesslich. Die Anlage selbst ist ein architektonisches Juwel, das Eleganz und rustikalen Charme perfekt vereint. Die weitläufigen Weinberge schaffen eine malerische Kulisse, die zum Verweilen und Genießen einlädt. Alles in allem ein tolles Hotel, das aber ganz aktuell immer noch unter Renovierungsarbeiten steht, die zum Buchungszeitpunkt leider nicht vorab kommuniziert wurden. So war selbst das Begrüßungsschreiben auf dem Zimmer nicht auf aktuellem Stand. Das Fine Dining Restaurant Raphael’s war noch nicht eröffnet (steht aber kurz bevor!), das Essen der Sansibar wurde aber bereits in den Räumlichkeiten serviert, ebenso das Frühstück (im Begrüßungsschreiben war noch von der Hotellobby die Rede… wir sind froh, dass uns das erspart blieb). Bei einem 5* Haus hätten wir einen eigenen Spa Bereich erwartet, es gibt jedoch nur einen Raum in dem Behandlungen stattfinden (und Behandler von extern kommen). Außerdem können wir in Zeiten des Load Shedding nicht nachvollziehen, dass bei Betreten des Zimmers nach dem Housekeeping das Licht im Zimmer brannte und dass die Handtücher selbst dann komplett getauscht wurden, wenn sie ordentlich aufgehängt wurden - denn ein Schild wies explizit auf den Wunsch zum Wassersparen hin. Auf den Zimmern könnten kleine Details verbessert werden: das Informationsheft war fleckig und abgenutzt, die Vorhänge hatten bereits ein Loch. Service in Bar und beim Frühstück sowie die Qualität der Speisen war hervorragend, das lässt für das Raphael‘s hoffen. Der Ausblick von der Terrasse über Weinhänge und Berge ist einmalig!

Great stay and all the staff was incredibly nice! Food was incredible and anywhere you are in the hotel the views will be breathtaking. It is a great way to be a little outside of the city and relax. Could not recommend this hotel enough!

We stayed in this hotel for a couple of nights. The surroundings are absolutely beautiful, with breath taking views and a huge room with an upstairs bathroom. Staff were also very nice. Perhaps it was just the time we stayed (mid Nov) but unfortunately there was a conference being held in the hotel at the same time and very few “holiday guests” booked - leading to a very strange and empty atmosphere! The restaurant was okay and a good choice of continental breakfast, however the hot breakfast buffet was not kept heated leading to cold bacon and scrambled egg every morning! The facilities and surroundings were wonderful but due to atmosphere and the breakfast service I would not visit again.

Our group of 27 conferenced at Asara 21-22 June. The experience was seamless from start to finish - administration support leading up to the session, the team's experience of the venue and the food, the assistance they received on site - excellent!
