弗朗斯胡克LAB酒店(Thelab Franschhoek)

Very cute hotel, clean, very chilled and comfortable! What makes it special is amazing people who work there making your stay memorable and pleasant!

Verry nice place to stay on a fabulous location. The staf was always ready to help and the breakfast was very good. You are close to the city centre so you can visit everything whiteout a car. Pleasant stay

Great property and stay. A little farther from Main Street than other boutique properties I have stayed at, yet still only a 10-12 minute walk. Rooms are well appointed, super clean and great bed. My bathroom was huge…which I love. I would definitely stay at TheLab again. Best compliment I can give:

Very nice B&B with all the facilities you need. Very friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. There is always a nice vibe. Situated in a nice neighborhood at a short walking distance from the Main street of Franschhoek.

The property has a lot of potential. Rooms look very modern when arriving. However staying in the room has few flaws: 1) Bath in middle of room looks great but very impractical. It would however make a great spot for a dressing table and mirror with great lighting for a lady to do her makeup. 2) The shower and toilet in same area. No Privacy. The toilet gets wet from the shower. The floor stays wet for hours and if you used it your clothes would get wet. 3) Great lighting system. However it controls all the lights at once. Cam be dimmed as required but individual lights , like most guest houses, would be much better. 4) Staff are very friendly. However it is very obvious that the owner is not present on site. Place needs the personal touch. 5) Breakfasts are sufficient but rather poor choice. EG. Toast, but no jam, offered eventhough on menu. (Menu's need to be thrown away and clean ones used. Very offputting before a meal)

Unusual in several ways but all good. High tech controls but also very laid back with fabulous breakfast. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Plenty of places to chill out whether outside by the pool or indoors.

We were met by Gerald who checked us in and showed us the lay of the land. Everywhere was pristine - my first observation. Our room was spacious, with a large wet room. Crisp white bed linen, just saying. Complimentary tea, coffee, water and toiletries. In the kitchen where optional breakfast is served, there is also beer on tap, not something I enjoy, but the man who cooks my meals was delighted. There's a great outdoor space with a small pool and loungers, too. Gerald arranged a taxi to a winery we had chosen to taste at. When the taxi was busy and couldn't bring us back, Gerald sent a member of staff. Above and beyond! The recommendation he gave us for dinner was fantastic and he told us that walking back after dinner would be perfectly safe. He was right. We loved our stay, brief though it was. We've had a great stay here- all the staff are so friendly and helpful, the property is beautifully furnished and decorated, and having a pool to use (especially in summer) was the cherry on the cake. It's also wirhin walking distance to the town center. Would highly recommend staying at the LAB.
