Booked this hotel for 15 day stay for my family prior to moving. I visited the restaurant prior to booking and requested to see the rooms which are located in a separate block. Was told no due to covid precautions, took the chance and booked. On arrival the smell of smoke hit immediately on entering, there is no elevator, got to rooms which were small but appeared clean. First night unable to sleep, the so called double bed was 2 singles pushed together. The water started dripping from the ceiling during the night, luckily I was able to move our luggage avoiding damage. Reported this and was moved to another room, informed that we would get a refund for 1 night. Around the 3rd day we returned to find that our room lock was not working and had been open all day. Reported this which was resolved, however manager informed us that nothing was wrong. Issues were minimalized. Son spilt some tea on the quilt cover, this was not changed until 2 days later. Smoking in the rooms occured despite it being a non smoking hotel, fire doors wedged open by people nipping out for a smoke and appeared to be no monitoring at all for security as fire exit doors open. Some nights the smoke was do bad we had to open to he window. If we hadn't paid upfront we would have left after the first night. Would not recommend at all.
