麥當勞森林山酒店(Macdonald Forest Hills Hotel & Spa)

酒店很噁心。我們計劃從 8 月 22 日起在那裡住 4 晚，但最後我們住了 1 晚，然後搬到了另一家酒店。 沒有接待服務來登記入住，我們等了 30 分鐘，最後 1 名工作人員來和我們爭論說我們只等了 10 分鐘。 沒有電梯，需要自己提行李。 寒冷的天氣沒有加熱器。想一想如果冬天沒有暖氣，你在房間裡會凍僵，沒人會來幫你。 服務員上菜時把食物從我的衣服上掉下來。完全沒有道歉。 無法要求您要吃什麼食物。這一切都基於服務員的建議。 在我們向餐廳的小男孩支付 10 英鎊以幫助我們設置之前，沒有 wifi 服務。 房間有蟲子。 設施壞了。 沒有鎖的門等…

A great hotel. Food amazing! Nice stay for Christmas. Thanks!

Oh dear. The unhelpful and unfriendly lady on reception upon arrival. When a single male traveller arrived, she became much more helpful and attentive to his needs...... The room that was dirtier after the cleaners had been in. We were left with a dirty duvet cover and blanket, dirty cups and glasses that weren't replaced and when we went to reception to complain, we were told to get our own new cups from the bar. Breakfast only had a few basic options. Anything you might have wanted, was an extra £7 on top of the £15. We had booked a twin room, had been emailed and asked if we wanted twin beds or King. We asked for twin. We got King. The only friendly member of staff we met was the lovely lady when we checked out at reception, who usually worked giving treatments, but was covering reception at that time. No management to be referred to.

Pool closed, elevators closed, second restaurant closed. Tired/jaded personnel, toilet unclean, toilet flush broke....and 1 ply toilet paper what is this Russia ? The whole place feelt like it was in decline from former glory days, it was reflected in everything about the place.

Piscine et spa impecable. Situation et vue egalement. On sent quand même que l hotel a vieilli et tombe en désuétude. Apres lorsqu on passe sur ce site : c est vue sur le parking.

The location was great however when entering our room there was a terrible sewage stink in our room. We did complain and they promptly got someone up to clean the bathroom which kind of helped but not perfect. Apparently there was a burst sewage pipe earlier. They were unable to move us as there were no other rooms. We had to open all the windows and leave our room for a while as we couldn’t stand the smell. Our room was okay but we only had a view of the parking so this wasn’t great. I know it wasn’t a premier room so I guess you get what you pay for.

The hotel was lovely. The setting was beautiful. The staff were really friendly and went out of their way to make sure we could fit in a trip to the pool before dinner! The food was great and we all felt very relaxed even though we were only away for one night.

We stayed here recently as part of our mini moon around Scotland. Overall, the hotel was okay. It wasn’t amazing but also wasn’t terrible. I found the staff very abrupt sometimes and they weren’t very welcoming. The batteries in our TV didn’t work so I went to reception for replacements however they didn’t have any so they said they would send maintenance, no maintenance showed up. Breakfast on both mornings we asked for brown sauce, again, no sauce appeared. It seems they don’t care and everything extra is an inconvenience to them. Breakfast was lovely but fairly small for the price of £18 each per morning! There really isn’t anything to do in the local area so I wouldn’t recommend for a family unless you want to drive at least 30 minutes somewhere. Like I said, it was okay but won’t be returning - nothing special and overpriced on my opinion for what it is.
