Not too bad for a 2 night stay. Hotel was clean, room was quite small, but warm and had ironing facilities and tea/coffee amenities.
Old hotel but kept well. Staff were friendly.
Show in room 28 had absolutely no pressure. Reported the matter but nobody came to sort it out.
Room was not cleaned. Later saw a notice saying the rooms are only cleaned upon request.
Well, that’s about it.
Oh yeah! Nice fireplace in front of reception and bus stop just outside.

This is a nice property. A little dated but very clean and welcoming.
The real fireplace in the reception was very nice to sit around with a drink in the evening. The self-serve breakfast though labelled a continental breakfast, was very good and you could have a 'full English' breakfast will all the elements provided.

We could not sleep as the disco was too load, we turned our tv upto the highest volume setting and still couldn’t here it above the noise of the disco.
******* only gave me 1 days notice of this and therefore I wasn’t able to request a refund.
We were staying there because we had an early flight from Manchester Airport so it wasn’t good at all as our plan was to sleep from 8pm as we had to be up at 5am to catch the plane.
Also the window didn’t shut property and let in the cold air from outside. We had to ask for free standing heaters and extra duvets to keep warm.

Was informed after booking a non-refundable room that an event (wedding) that evening would be playing music until midnight might affect my room. The noise was so loud that I had to sit outside the hotel until the music stopped. Wedding guests were slamming door until at least 1 am. Room was comfortable but worst sleep ever in a hotel. Would have thought they would offer to move guests that were directly over the dance hall.
