霍格斯石頭莊園酒店(Hogarths Stone Manor)

Another blissful stay. The hotel is so relaxing and quality from the minute you arrive. The welcome was warm and friendly The rooms spotless and so comfortable. The public rooms were also spotless and warm. The best thing about the place is the staff, nothing is too much trouble and they offer some of the best friendly service i have ever come across in a hotel

so they had alot of weddings and the restaurant service was disorganised but when i made a complaint they recognised this. overall excellent friendly staff and good food. the star was the bedroom and especially the most toasty warm bathroom i have ever had - underfloor heating, towel rail and a heated mirror! i just kept walking in and out to feel the warmth under my feet - like being on a hot beach without the sand!

Lovely room on 1st floor, beautifully furnished, excellent bathroom. Immaculately clean. Slight draw back was room used was an interconnecting room and noise could be heard from the next room. Sound proofing could be improved for this type of room. Lovely grounds and an enjoyable breakfast with good service. Friendly and helpful staff.

Disappointed that one of our rooms (122) smelt overwhelmingly of damp and mould. Caused me to cough constantly. Advised reception of this, but no offer of any compensation - just said they’d let housekeeping know. The hotel itself could be beautiful with a little tlc, however as it stands it is definitely not a 4 star experience. Bar staff made a Long Island iced tea cocktail in a short glass - clearly not trained properly, also there is a lack of attention in the restaurant as we were left for long periods of time between courses. Breakfast was a buffet affair rather than cooked to order, which was unexpected for £12 per head. Generally, needs lots of tweaks to get this place up to 4 star standard, but the potential is definitely there.

This Hotel is exceptional , service by all staff is first class, very comfortable , amazing food highly recommend for buisness and pleasure .

Excellent hotel, fabulous setting, very relaxed atmosphere, lovely restaurant, delicious food, great spa treatments, extremely helpful staff, nothing too much trouble, cant wait to return 5 stars

On spec stay for friend's 70th birthday party nearby. Nice food - we didn't have dinner because we were out, but nice snack for lunch and breakfast was great. Very relaxing place.

Really good hotel, with caring and kind staff and all amenities in top condition. Food was excellent at the on-site restaurant, and parking space was plenty. Clean, spacious room and bathroom, very quiet surroundings.

Lovely place. Full of charm and character. Rooms are nicely decorated, comfortable beds and breakfast was delightful.
