紅酒藤蔓酒店(The Wine Vine Hotel)

The Wine Vine has recently been taken over and renovated, previously it may have been known as the Barossa Hotel. There are 40 rooms and it is situated neatly along with everything else on Murray Street in Tanunda. Slightly concealed below the large bench in the Reception area was Prahb, the General Manager; she was very welcoming and open to feedback. The room itself was large, fairly standard but had most things you need for a short stay. We found it to be clean and quite comfortable. The bed was a little firm for my liking, and the pillows were thin - it may pay to bring your own if you are particular about this. The shower room was probably double the size of a 'generous' alcove. This room needed some painting finished, a ceiling fan and some more hooks or shelves installed. I booked our stay through a travel website and obtained a fantastic deal; we definitely felt we got good value for money. I'd recommend this as a nice little place to stay and an easy place to tour some of the many things the Barossa Valley has to offer.

A really nice face lift on a property that has been around for a long time. Staff were friendly on check-in and check out, and felt genuine in conversation. Good distance from both Tanunda and Nuriootpa. Could walk to tanunda main street on a nice day, also walking distance to a few wineries.

A great place to stay if you are wanting to explore the amazing Barossa Valley wine region. The staff at the Wine Vine went above and beyond to make our recent stay extremely comfortable, no request was deemed to hard and the crew were extremely accommodating. A special thanks to Lindy for all her great advise setting us up for a great day on our self guided winery tour. The restaurant attached to the hotel named Asian Tucker served some of the best Chinese food we have eaten and also highly recommended. The rooms were neat modern and fresh and the property is well maintained. Thanks again guys we had a great stay.

An absolute dump. We were charged over $400 for one night stay. The room was disgusting. Tiny, dirty no proper shower it was like showering in a tiny toilet cubicle. You can’t even hang a towel no room to even undress. This place is a dump. Outside is no better. Run down and old save your money and go elsewhere I was totally ripped off.

We asked to change room as the smell in unit 14 was absolutly unbearable. We were moved without issue. Room 14 need a big clean up!

Extremely disappointed that their advertised queen bed is really a double bed. They claim there are 2 types of queen beds!!! Just plain false and misleading advertising! Beware.

The room was tiny and the renovation attempt made the room tacky. Doing our dishes in the hand basin was awful. Credit to the marketing photographer who made the space look modern and more spacious The area was quiet and peaceful at night and well located for a nice walk into the Main Street.

We had a lovely stay for one night. Lindy and John were very welcoming and our room was clean and fresh.

I booked a Queen Room and was given a room with a double bed. Additionally the bed was really uncomfortable and dipped in the middle. A horrible nights sleep or lack of.
