舒眠套房酒店(Sleep Inn & Suites Gettysburg)

No pude hacer el check in, por un supuesto problema con mi tarjeta, llamé al banco y me dijeron que todo estaba bien con mi tarjeta, más bien que el personal del hotel estaba introduciendo los datos con error en la fecha de expiración. Le pasé la información y no hubo solución; llamé a servicio al cliente y me dejaron en hold por más de una hora y luego me tumbaron la llamada. Al final decidí hacer reservación en otro hotel directamente; con el agravante que me alejé 25 millas de mi destino

Unpleasant odor in Lobby. Carpet was stained in room and needed to be cleaned or replaced.

The entire entrance of the hotel, the pool room and every hallway is full of materials and trash. The elevator is out of inspection. When we attempted to make waffles as part of the complimentary breakfast the waffle mix came out of the machine completely seperated. The whole overall appearence is not good. Towels in bathroom were stained or dirty. Would not recommend.

Decent place to stay for the price. Everything was in working order and free breakfast was provided. I believe they may be working on upgrades as there were several rolls of carpeting in the hallway. Wish I was able to access the gym. I tried my keycard during the hours posted and the door did not work. We were only there for one night so I didn’t bring it up. If we were there for longer, I would’ve talked to the front desk about it.

This hotel has a friendly staff and very clean rooms. The breakfast offers plenty of options, and its location is convenient. While generally quiet, some may find traffic noise bothersome. Overall, it's a pleasant place to stay, provided you're comfortable with a bit of outside noise.

I liked that it was close to downtown Gettysburg. The lock on the door was broken and the phone didn’t work for my wake up call. But it was a good visit.

We walked into our room and walked right back out and went to a different hotel. The whole place had a vibe of not being well maintained or very clean. The wall corners in the room were beat up and some sort of sticky drip (soda?) was on one wall. But the absolute worst thing was the awful chemical smell that was throughout the entire floor. We could barely breathe. I’m not sure what smell they were trying to cover up with all the chemicals, but it made the air barely breathable. We went straight back to the front desk and requested a full refund. On the way out, some man (presumably the property owner/operator?) followed us all the way to our car, raising his voice and insisting we tell him why we were leaving. Very unnerving to us two women travelers.

Bed way way too high. Not enough towels Breakfast not sufficient. Not up to usual standards. Bathroom and shower too small.

The same clumps of dirt that greeted you when entering the hotel and trailed into the elevator was there 2 days later when we checked out. No vending machines, only a small fridge behind the check in desk that contained a limited number of drinks for purchase. The provided breakfast is what you would expect for the price of your stay, fake eggs, plain bagels but they did have a waffle maker, which was a pleasant surprise and it worked. Very much lacking in customer service, seems as though the owner wants to spends as minimal as he/she can and it shows. Not a place that I would ever return to.
