L’hôtel est actuellement en rénovation et propose des chambres très très vieillottes et très peu nettoyées pour ces promos ! Je ne recommande absolument pas tant que toutes les chambres soient rénovées... Par contre, le personnel est impeccable.
This hotel, Mercure strasbourg centre gare was horrible condition. I wonder how they got 4 stars hotel!! 4 stars?? It must be 1star hotel. We booked 2 rooms accecible for children but they told us that it is not exist! 😳 The rooms were so small, evenin the bathroom inly one person can stand. All the furnitures were so old and durty. I hope that nobody goes that terrible, horrible and awful hotel!

Je tiens à remercier chaleureusement Marine pour son professionnalisme, sa disponibilité et sa gentillesse tout au long de mon séjour. Son sens du service et son attention aux détails m'ont vraiment marqué. J’ai déjà eu l’occasion de séjourner dans des établissements haut de gamme comme le Sofitel ou le Pullman, et je dois dire que l’accueil et la qualité de service offerts par Marine sont tout à fait comparables. Un vrai plus pour l’établissement Mercure, bravo et merci encore ! Hôtel juste à côté de la gare, très pratique. Chambre un peu anciennes mais confortables.

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the conduct of one of your reception staff members, Mr. Carlos, during my check-in on the evening of 26th August 2025. After completing all the necessary formalities, including payment, providing my credit card details, and submitting my passport information, the final step was to receive my room key. At that point, however, Mr. Carlos asked me to wait for five minutes so that he could process the check-in of two other guests standing behind me. When I inquired why my room key could not be handed over before attending to the other guests, he chose not to respond. This behavior was both discourteous and unprofessional, creating an unpleasant first impression of the hotel. I kindly request that you review the CCTV footage of the reception area from that evening to verify my account of the incident. As someone who has stayed in many hotels worldwide, I must emphasize that I have rarely encountered such dismissive treatment from a hotel employee. I trust that you will look into this matter seriously and take appropriate action to ensure such behavior does not recur.

Standard room with the amenities. Room is just nice for 2 person. But the toilet bowl is set in a awkward position. I pity those large size guests. Free coffee at the lobby. Good location.
