霍華阿姆斯酒店(The Howard Arms)

A delightful two-night break in this beautiful cosy inn. We stayed in The Old Beams room, which is lovely. Breakfast was delicious and served in the beautiful dining room. The bar area is so atmospheric with the flagstone floor, beams, amazing fire and candlelight. The food was also fab, staff were very friendly. We couldn't have picked a better place to stay for a winter break.

If you’re looking for an authentic Cotswold experience, this is your place! It’s set in the beautiful countryside, away from the crowded villages. The Inn is adorable, and tastefully furnished in period design. The dining room serves delicious, English dishes, and there’s a cozy pub, along with a back garden area for relaxation! The only negative was no air conditioning, but we had a floor fan that kept us comfortable.

Room, surroundings and staff all first rate. Menu and variety could use some tweaking. For those, like us, staying for more than a few days the same 5 or 6 items leave little choice especially when some items are not cared for. Overall a great stay.

The Howard was a superb find for us. We had a wonderful room and loved sitting by the fireplace in the pub. Breakfast and dinner were great. Everyone should stay here!

Warm welcome and check in easy, as was parking. Shown to room, The Old Beams, which was perfect. Spotlessly clean and the extra special touches were so thoughtful eg coffee and cookies. Friendly bar with a great selection of drinks. Quaint bar with a roaring fire was lovely. Restaurant was comfortable and the evening meal delicious with polite and friendly service. We had a full English breakfast from a variety of options. Relaxed and pleasant visit all round and would highly recommended. Thank you. ☺️

Situated in a very sleepy village we found our stay to be restful and quiet. The bedroom - the old beams- was delightful including the sloping floor! Bed was very comfortable with super pillows. Hospitality tray was excellent. Good quality toiletries in the bathroom which was disappointing compared to the room and the blurb. Certainly highly functional though not luxurious. Mould in a number of places on the shower sealant not to be expected. Breakfast on both mornings was super. Staff truly warm and friendly. Dinner was very flavoursome. Overall a very pleasant stay. Be mindful of rural buses - the last bus from Stratford is not a late one. Better to drive and park in one of the many car parks than miss the last bus and face a hefty taxi bill.

This property was the best we have stayed at through ******* and as good as a boutique luxury hotel we have used regularly. The staff,food and the accommodation and facilites were excellent. We can't think of anything we would want improved. We will stay again.
